Abstract:Based on the solution of the equation of motion of a charge in a frequency-modulated electromagnetic field, a classical theory of radiation of a relativistic charged particle linearly accelerated by a high-intensity chirped laser pulse is constructed. This solution was used to study the spectral-angular characteristics of the emission of a charged particle. According to the calculated formulas for the phase and phase-angular distributions of the intensity and power of the radiation of a particle in a modulated… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
