Abstract

Determining the indicators of the digital development of the country's economy is one of the priority steps not only of the state, but also of commercial structures and the population. Researchers do not have time to monitor the variability of the digital economy, which is connected with the dynamics of its development.The purpose of the article was to determine the current state of Ukraine's digital economy and clarify the prospects for its development.Ukraine's digital economy is characterized by average indicators of technology use by citizens, businesses and the state. Insufficient state regulation, lack of a full-fledged legislative basis hinders the effective impact of digital technologies on the economy and society. A low index of inclusiveness of technologies indicates a low possibility of electronic participation of the population in political, social, economic processes, as well as gender gaps.There is no widespread adoption of high-speed Internet. 53 % of the population lacks digital skills. GDP of the IT sector reached 5.8 billion dollars (corresponding to 4.5 % of Ukraine's GDP). The sector is export oriented. Stable dynamics of the telecommunications and digital services sector are observed. The Ukrainian cloud technology market is growing. The analysis of the network readiness of Ukraine placed it in the middle of the ranking of countries of the European Union. The size of the e-commerce market in Ukraine in 2019 amounted to 0.5 billion dollars, and already in 2021 it has grown significantly and amounted to 3.82 billion dollars.The analysis showed that in 2021-2023, due to negative circumstances -the spread of 2019-CoVID-2019, military actions -the country acquired rapid growth rates of the digital economy and continues to develop.In the near term, digitalization will become the basic foundation, including for the economy, on the basis of which new segments of social life and new sectors of the economy, new and additional jobs, and an updated employment structure will be created.A number of measures are proposed regarding the prospects for the development of the digital economy.Keywords: evaluation of the digital economy, prospects for the development of the digital economy, digital economy, digitalization Постановка проблеми.
