Abstract:Woven fabric structures have, on account of the manufacturing process, a characteristic waviness of the fabric threads are not uniform, weft and warp threads are curved depending on the weave type, weaving process, coating process and the tension rate. If tension forces are applied to such a fabric, then displacements of the fabric structure take place as a result of the alteration of the thread curvature, which are described as constructional strain.
