The response of middle boreal landscapes in the Yenisei Siberia to climate warming is considered. Changes in the systems of exodynamics, natural permafrost and nonpermafrost landscapes are analyzed based on a series of studies. Permafrost landscapes are ranked by their susceptibility to climate warming. Changes in the habitats were identified. The aggravating problems of the local population in the sphere of the use of taiga resources, characterizing the current stage of changes in the environment and climate are dem onstrated. Keywords: climate warming and instability, permafrost landscapes, middle taiga, landscape indicators, exo dynamic processes and phenomena, nature management in taiga zone
The paper discusses the modern state of the Kets ethnos, its cultural heritage, and existing problems. The paper analyzes the role of social factors in the transformation of traditional economy and the Kets philosophy at the modern stage. Using analysis of the data collected, the climatic impact on the traditional resource use of the Kets people has been identified. The paper suggests possible ways of diversification of traditional Kets economy under the existing organization of economy in the remote regions of the country. Global climate warming increases the dependency of traditional Kets economy on the environmental and geographical factors (natural-environmental resources of the taiga, natural disasters, natural risks of different origin, etc.).

This paper presents the method of remote detection and mapping of permafrost landscapes. These natural complexes visually are significant not only on the terrain, but easily distinguished by thermal characteristics on surface temperature maps, obtained by processing data from Landsat TM and Terra ASTER. The possibility of using thermal images data for such aim relies on the work of M.I. Budyko about the structure of earth's surface heat balance. This method is also confirmed by field studies.
