The aim of this research to know the error of problem solving in trigonometry. This research used the qualitative descriptive, with the subject of research is 80 students who were taken be based on purposive sampling. The procedure of the data was used by the think out louds. Technically the analysis of the data that was used was (1) studied all the data’s that were gathered, (2) studied results of the work of the student in resolving the problem of trigonometry, (3) carried out the verification from the data. The checking of the legality of the data used the triangulation. The first and second stage of error was the concept, the third stage of error was the algorithm, and the fourth stage of error was habits and Confirmation of the answer. Keyword: error, problem solving, trigonometry
The purpose of this study was to develop a number theory textbook in order to improve prospective teachers' understanding of concepts and describe the feasibility of teaching materials number theory. The type of research used is the research development, with the development model chosen is a development model that fits the procedure suggested by Borg and Gall which consists of 5 steps. The steps taken are product analysis to be developed, initial product development, expert validation, and product revision, limited field trials, and product revisions, main field trials, and final products. Data creation techniques using product validation techniques and product trials. This study focuses on the steps of analyzing products that are developed up to expert validation steps. The validator suggests that textbooks are very good in all three aspects with an average score of 4.62 on a scale of 5 and can be continued at the Small-scale Trial stage.
This study aims to find out the effectiveness of TAI model through mathematics learning outcomes in terms of students' student activity. This research was a quasi-experimental research. Sampling technique in this research used Cluster Random Sampling technique. Data collection technique used questionnaire and tests. The data analysis technique used two-way variance analysis with unequal cell. The result of this research was that learning using TAI model is not more effective to use (Fobs< Ftable) with 2.859 <4.00; Students who have high student activity, have mathematics learning outcomes that are no better than those with moderate and low-skilled students (Fobs< Ftable) with 0.5576 < 3.15; There is no interaction between the learning model used and the student activity to the students' mathematics learning outcomes (Fobs< Ftable= 0.44 <3.15). A suggestion on the results of this study is in the process of teaching and learning teachers should be able to create an atmosphere of learning that can make students become more active.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
