Magneto-inertial range dominated by magnetic helicity has been studied using results of the numerical simulations, laboratory measurements, solar, solar wind, and Earth's magnetosphere observations (spacecraft measurements). The spectral data have been compared with the theoretical results obtained on the basis of the distributed chaos notion in the frames of the Kolmogorov-Iroshnikov phenomenology. The transition from magnetohydrodynamics to kinetics in the solar wind and at the special events (reconnection and Kelvin-Helmholtz instability) in Earth's magnetosphere has been discussed in this context.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
