The formats of the geometric model translation are analyzed and investigated using the example of using professional software for creating three-dimensional computer graphics Autodesk 3ds Max and Blender. In the context of import substitution, there is a need to switch to using other software, and therefore, when transferring geometric models from one system to another, data loss may occur. So, during the evaluation, the transfer of the model took place through the formats of translation of geometric models. The results of the work done have shown that each format successfully conveys the geometry of the model, while complementary information about this model is lost, such as color, materials, names of constituent elements. Moreover, the evaluation will depend on the priority parameters for successful transmission.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
