In 1977 the Ministry of Power and Electrification of the USSR approved "Methodical instructions for conducting operational power tests on hydraulic units at hydroelectric power plants."* The instructions are intended for power-plant workers and various organizations engaged in field power tests of hydraulic turbogenerators to monitor their operating condition. Publication of the instructions is intended to regulate power tests of hydraulic turbogenerators in terms Qf the volume and methods of measurement and the methods employed to process the data. They contain reco--,endations for the organization and conduction of field tests by absolute and relative methods. The methodical instructions consist of general positions followed by five sections: test organization, quantities measurable during tests, data processing for tests conducted by the absolute method, tests of hydraulic units by the relative method, and, determination of the most favorable combiner relations of the adjustable-blade turbine.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
