Earlier, the long-term outlook of using home-produced organic peroxides on a mineral support in the vulcanisation of SKF-32 fluorine-containing rubber was shown [1]. In the opinion of Nudel'man [2], metal oxides fulfil two functions in the peroxide vulcanisation of fluorine-containing rubbers: they are activators of the process and they bind the hydrogen fluoride formed. The aim of this work was to study the influence of the nature of the metal oxide on features of the vulcanisation of SKF-32 fluorine-containing rubber with home-produced organic peroxides on a mineral support.
