At the present time, the problem of structure concreting at negative temperatures is particularly sensitive. One of winter concreting methods is electrical heating of structures with the help of heating cable. The paper presents the analysis of existing studies of the concrete curing technology with electric cable upon winter concreting and criteria for selecting the equipment and materials for heating; organizational and technological diagrams were developed for winter concreting of structures with application of concrete heating with electric cable. Recommendations for the selection of heating elements and wiring schemes are given, based on the requirements for improvement of work performance, optimization and rational use of labor and material resources, reduction of time for auxiliary works. Risks, associated with the winter concreting technology with the use of heating cable, were assessed within the framework of the paper.
The article considers methodological approaches to the selection of topics for final qualifying works in the form of master's theses in the direction of preparation 08.04.01 "Construction", the profile "Technologies and organization of construction". The authors justify the relevance of the topic based on the experience of training masters at the Department of construction production Technology of the Saint Petersburg state University of architecture and construction. The main requirements of modern professional standards for the formation of competencies of undergraduates are considered. The authors emphasize the importance of the first stage of research work in the semester, in which students together with the supervisor must identify the problem and determine the direction of work and formulate the topic of the final qualifying work (dissertation), based on the analysis of work experience and relevant documented and undocumented sources. Approaches to the formulation of research topics based on the identification of actual problems in various areas of technology and construction organization are proposed. The corresponding experience of work on the preparation of masters, accumulated at the Department, is analyzed. For this stage, a number of requirements for the selection of relevant research areas are presented and recommendations based on practical experience in this area are given. Various sources and directions of formulation of topics of graduate qualification works of undergraduates are analyzed. At the same time, the corresponding requirements for the student's scientific supervisor's experience are presented. In conclusion, the approaches to evaluating the work of undergraduates in the semester on the basis of a score-rating system, for the implementation of which a system for awarding points for various sections of their research, prepared articles, participation in conferences and case Championships is presented.
Introduction: Artificial islands for new construction and works in a dry environment are created in water areas by installing enclosures, which allow buildings to remain rigid and stable and withstand the influence of climatic factors. Purpose of the study: We aim to develop a method for the construction of low-rise buildings in the coastland and water areas with the least labor effort required to erect buildings and ensure their safe operation. Methods: In the course of the research, we have performed theoretical studies in the field of experimental construction and analyzed the results of Russian and foreign scientific research related to the construction of buildings in water areas. Results: We have examined methods for the construction of waterproof enclosures in water areas that make it possible to erect buildings in a dry environment in open water areas with unstable wave conditions. Such methods reduce labor efforts, decrease the term of construction, and improve performance indicators.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
