This paper presents non-isolated prototype of input-output common bus line UPS circuit topology using IGBT modules, which incorporates bidirectional converter circuit for battery bank interface and its related-specific current-mode control strategy. The steady-state operating principle of power con version circuit system topologies and control strategy are described herein. The feasible experimental results of this cost-effective and highperformance UPS topology with two quadrant chopperfed battery bank are illustrated for 3kVA-UPS and discussed as compared with a conventional UPS with battery bank connected to the high DC voltage bus.
An improved half-bridge type Iossless capacitorbased with a clamped capacitor Zero-Voltage SOBSwitching asymmetrical PWM DC-DC power converter which makes use of a saturable reactor-assisted so#-switching technique is newly presented in this paper. This new power DC-DC converter with a high-frequency transformer link has many advantages such as lowered switching losses and conduction losses, high-power density, stable load operation in wide ranges, constant frequency opemtion and minimized EMI noise level. Its operating principle in steady-state is illustrated and its steady-state circuit analysis are performed as periodically-interupped circuit. In order to demonstrate the remarkable effectiveness of the converter characteristics, the feasible experiments are carried out with a 15OW-2OOkHz prototype soft-switched DC-DC power converter using power MOSFETs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
