FOREWORD This report presents the results of a study on the Conceptual Design and System Analysis of Photovoltaic Power Systems. The program was performed under ERDA Contract EY-76-C-04-3686 for the Sandia Laboratories under the guidance of Dr. Billy Marshall. The report consists of three volumes. Volume I contains a Study Summary of the major study results. Volume I I contains the detailed results pertaining to on-site residential photovoltaic systems, central power plant photovoltaic systems, and intermediate size systems applied to commercial and public buildings. Volume I I I contains supporting appendix material. The study was conducted by the Advanced Energy Programs of the General Electric Company Space Division.
