Orientation superstructures are examined using the magnetic diffusion after-effect, the squareness ratio R , and the induced anisotropy K,, in the ferritea: Mno.zFez.
Single crystals of Y3−x−zCaxPr4+xPr3+z−xFe5 O12 have been successfully grown. Their magnetic moments have been measured and interpreted on the basis of Néel’s model. Cubic magnetocrystalline anisotropy and growth induced uniaxial anisotropy have been obtained on spherical samples using torque measurements.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
