This article discusses modern schemes of using solar energy in the systems of the Ministry of Water Management. The analysis of electricity generation by photovoltaic water-lifting stations by months has been carried out and the effectiveness of their use as a reliable source of power supply to pumps has been proved. The payback period of solar water lifting systems is calculated. Calculations show that the payback period for solar water-lifting systems, considering only the cost of saved natural gas and carbon dioxide emissions is no more than 6 years. It should be noted that the life of the PVP is more than 20 years. Tax breaks on property and land use, provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, further shorten the payback period.
