The article describes the content of an additional variative professional module aimed at training pedagogical college students of the specialty 44.02.02 "Teaching in primary school" for organizing extracurricular activities on informatics. The article presents: routing of extracurricular activities recommended for pedagogical college students for use in educational practice and in further professional activities; an example of a training assignment with a description of its structural components; a phased description of one extracurricular activity in primary school using modern methods, forms of instruction and educational technologies. The presented methodological recommendations will be useful for informatics teachers, teachers of methods of the subject and for students of pedagogical universities and colleges.
