This study aims to determine the implementation of the management and leadership of kiai Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor in order to continue to exist and even become a prototype of leadership and management of modern Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. The study used descriptive qualitative methods which were carried out by collecting data obtained from documentation, observation and interviews, and supported by literature studies, both from books and journals. The results of the study show that the modernity of Pondok Gontor is seen in the implementation of management which is different from Islamic boarding schools in general. Gontor's management is carried out based on the principles of transparency and accountability as well as togetherness. Pondok Gontor adheres to a collective, democratic, and transformational leadership model. This leadership model is proven to be able to bring about change in every student and teacher to achieve high performance. Through its vision and mission, Pondok Gontor strives to produce strong and solid leaders, leaders who have a noble soul and philosophy of life, correct values and are involved in the totality of life in the boarding with high discipline.
<p>There are two mistaken blocks in looking upon the essence of the holy war that apparently influence the religious and social life. It implies that there is a group that sees sarcastically to the terminology of the holy war even there is one that tries to eliminate from the Islamic Shari�a. On the other hand, it appears a group that behaves in extreme way and sees the holy war in narrow outlook, that is war. This is the importance of propagating the education of the holy war with the right way referring to the authoritative Islamic scholars. This research focuses on the holy war education of Imam Bukhari by studying chapters and hadiths arranged in the book of the holy war in his shahih book. So that it can be known how the idea of Imam Bukhari in the holy war education with the focus on four education components, those are goal, program, method and evaluation then how the implementation in the contemporary world of education. According to the Title of the research, so the kind of research used is the library research. The library research is a research which is carried out both with literature and non-literature. Among the samples of literature are books, notes, or the report of research from previous researches. As for the samples of non-literature, such as audio record and visual record. This research reveals the finding of the Imam Bukhari�s holy war education that� consists of goals those are related to the urgency of aqeedah, morals (akhlaq), the wide meaning of the holy war, and the urgency of healthe body. The Material of Aqeedah related faith, obedient, sincere, receive (tawakal), love, scare,and hope to Allah. The Materials of morals (akhlaq), such as patience, honesty, enthusiastic in doing war, courage, genorosity, keeping promise, compassionate, modesty (tawadhu�), wisdom, and avoiding evil character. The spiritual Material such as cumpolsory prayer (shalat), sunnah prayer, fasting, pray,reciting Al-Qur�an, saying takbeer, tahlil, and tasbih. The Physical Material such as keeping body hygiene, protecting and caring of body in order not to get wound, keeping physical hygiene by treating wound, keeping stamina and body hygiene by consuming good food and doing exercises before war. The methods applied are not less than 20 methods. And the evaluation by considering the quantity and the power of soldiers, security condition, preparing reserve commander, the couse of loss, joining in the holy war and administering sanctions. The ide of Imam Bukhari in the holy war education is very comprehensive, effective, and aplicative. So it is important to study his idea so that the comprehension of the holy war conception can be comprehensive and unimpaired. And it is possible, that the thing discovered in the research would be implemented in the world of education and can be used as one of referrence in learning.</p><strong>Keyword</strong>: jihad education, library research, Shahih Bukhari
Abstrak Proses pembelajaran tidak cukup apabila tidak menggunakan worldview (pandangan hidup) yang benar. Penetrasi paham-paham yang jauh dari basis worldview Islam ke dalam sistem pendidikan tidak akan pernah menghantarkan murid pada tujuan pokok pendidikan Indonesia. Maka dari itu, perlu keseriusan mengembangkan supervisi proses pembelajaran secara menyeluruh mulai dari worldview, konsep, dan implementasinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan supervisi proses pembelajaran berbasis worldview Islam pada pendidikan dasar mulai dari konsep hingga implementasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan library research. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) konsep supervisi proses berbasis worldview Islam menjadikan pedoman Allah Swt. sebagai sumber tunggal pandangan hidup seseorang dalam melaksanakan setiap kegiatan pendidikan, termasuk pemikiran tentang hakikat, nilai-nilai kehidupan, proses pembelajaran, dan pembentukan berbagai peraturan. (2) Implementasi konsep supervisi proses berbasis worldview Islam dapat dilakukan dengan 7 (tujuh) langkah, yaitu: memberi pengantar pada awal aktivitas proses pembelajaran dengan nasihat-nasihat Islami, menyisipkan kata-kata yang menunjukan Kemahakuasaan Allah Swt. khususnya selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, mengungkapkan hikmah setiap kejadian yang dapat menumbuhkan rasa syukur, memasukkan ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an atau Hadits yang relevan dengan topik pembahasan, mengoreksi konsep-konsep yang digunakan selama proses pembelajaran, menceritakan informasi yang datang dari ilmuwan muslim, dan mengaitkan konsep dengan penerapannya sesuai ajaran Islam. Abstract The learning process is not enough if it does not use the correct worldview (ways of life). The penetration of ideas that are far from the basis of the Islamic worldview into the education system will never lead students to the main goal of Indonesian education. Therefore, it is necessary to seriously develop the supervision of the learning process as a whole starting from the worldview, concept, and its implementation. The purpose of this study is to develop supervision of the Islamic worldview-based learning process in basic education from concept to implementation. The research method used in this research is qualitative with library research. The results of this study are (1) the concept of process supervision based on an Islamic worldview makes Allah Swt.‘s guideline. as the sole source of one's ways of life in carrying out every educational activity, including thoughts about the reality, values of life, the learning process, and the formation of various regulations. (2) Implementation of the concept of process supervision based on Islamic worldview can be carried out in 7 (seven) steps, namely: giving an introduction at the beginning of the learning process activity with Islamic advice, inserting words that show the Almighty of Allah Swt., especially during the learning process, revealing the wisdom of every incident that can foster gratitude, inserting verses from the Qur'an or Hadith that are relevant to the topic of discussion, correcting concepts used during the learning process, telling information that comes from Muslim scientists, and linking the concept to its application according to Islamic teachings.
Many Muslims want to memorize the Qur'an, but with a dense activity, making it difficult for them to memorize the Qur'an. Therefore, a particular method is required for people who are busy working in memorizing the Qur'an. This research aims to explore effective methods in memorizing the Qur'an according to Imam Jalaluddin As Suyuthi in the book of Al-Itqan Fi 'Ulumil Quran and dig deeply into the method of memorizing the Qur'an in the Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Institute Jauharul Iman. This study uses the library research approach as well as observation. The results of this study showed that the methods applied by Imam Jalaluddin As-Suyuthi in memorizing the Qur'an are: Halaqah, Talaqqi, and Mu'aradhah. Meanwhile, the method used in the Institute of Tahsin / Tahfizh Al-Qur'an (LTQ) Jauharul Iman: Methods of reciting the Qur'an before memorization, Wahdah method, Takrir method, Sima'an method with fellow tahfizh friends, and muroja'ah method of a group. From the data that has been collected, it can be formulated that the effective method of memorizing the Qur'an for employees: Methods of reciting the Qur'an before memorization, Wahdah method, Takrir method, Talaqqi method, sima'an method with fellow tahfizh friends by way of mu'aradhah and muroja'ah method of the group.
This paper explains the principles of fiqhiyyah which are fundamentally a source of determining fiqh law based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, as well as because the nature of a rule is general so that it can be used also in solving problems that exist in the world of Islamic education, and also gave birth to the concept of Education by using 5 basic principles that are sourced from the Qur'an and Sunnah in the rules of fiqhiyyah. The method of writing this paper uses qualitative, descriptive, explanatory and comparative methods with a study approach to classical and modern Islamic literates, then compares them with the reality of the context of Islamic education and the problems that exist in the lives of Muslims today to give birth to the concept of Islamic education. Paper ini menjelaskan tentang kaidah fiqhiyyah yang secara mendasar sebagai sumber penetapan hukum fiqih yang berlandaskan al qur’an dan sunnah, begitu pula karena sifat dari sebuah kaidah adalah general sehingga bisa digunakan juga didalam memecahkan permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada didalam dunia pendidikan islam, dan juga melahirkan konsep Pendidikan dengan mengunakan 5 pokok kaidah dasar yang bersumber dari al-Qur’an dan Sunnah didalam kaidah fiqhiyyah. Metode penulisan paper ini menggunakan metode kualikatif, Deskriptif, eksplanatif dan Komparatif dengan pendekatan studi terhadap literatus-literatus Islam Klasik dan modern, kemudian menkomparasikannya dengan realitas konteks pendidikan islam dan permasalahan yang ada didalam kehidupan umat Islam saat ini untuk melahirkan konsep Pendidikan islam
