Pembelajaran sejarah lokal sangat strategis sebagai sarana pengembangan nilai-nilai multikulturalisme. Nilai-nilai multikulturalisme yang tekandung pada situs Kesultanan Deli telah dimanfaatkan oleh SMA Panca Budi Medan. Kenyataan tersebut menjadi dasar ketertarikan penulis dalam melakukan penelitian mengenai pemanfaatan situs Kesultanan Deli dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal berbasis multikultural. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif naturalistik dengan tehnik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi (pengamatan) inteview (wawancara), dokumentasi dan gabungan ketiganya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran sejarah lokal berbasis multikultural dengan memanfaatkan situs Kesultanan Deli memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pengetahuan, perilaku siswa dan kreatifitas siswa. Selain memperoleh pengetahuan dan pemahaman terhadap sejarah Kesultanan Deli, keadaan masyarakat dan situs-situs peninggalan Deli secara kritis, siswa juga mampu mengimplemetasikan nilai-nilai multikulturalisme yang terdapat pada materi sejarah Kesultanan Deli yaitu sikap toleransi, tolong-menolong, dialog terbuka dan berbaik sangka terhadap masyarakat dari etnis maupun kepercayaan yang berbeda.Kata kunci: Situs Kesultanan Deli, Pembelajaran Sejarah Lokal, Multikultural
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berbagai kegiatan di Labuhan Deli sebagai pusat pemerintahan Kesultanan Deli dan apa penyebab terjadi perpindahan pusat pemerintahan yang dilakukan Kesultanan Deli. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini melalui study pustaka, wawancara dan observasi. Dari hasil penelitian proses perpindahan pusat pemerintahan diawali dengan mempersiapkan kawasan baru, secara kewilayahan Labuhan Deli mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam menjalankan pemerintahan baik itu sumber daya alam maupun sumber daya manusia yang ada. Tuanku Panglima Pasutan yang berinisiatif memindahkan pusat pemerintahan pada tahun 1728, penyebab utama perpindahan pusat pemerintahan Kesultanan Deli adalah faktor ekonomi dan faktor politik, hal tersebut dikarenakan pada saat itu keramaian Selat Malaka mampu memberikan keuntungan jika pusat pemerintahan lebih dekat dengan pesisir pantai dan berperan sebagai pintu gerbang tol transportasi yang melalui jalur sungai Deli sedangkan faktor politiknya untuk mempermudah mengawasi kasawan taklukan Deli, pembangunan sarana pusat pemerintahan, seperti Istana, Masjid, dan Dermaga. This study aims to find out various activities in Labuhan Deli as the central government of Deli Sultanate and what causes the transfer of government center conducted Deli Sultanate. Technique of collecting data of this research through literature study, interview and observation. From the results of the research process of moving the center of government begins by preparing new areas, in the territory Labuhan Deli able to contribute in running the government be it natural resources and human resources available. Tuanku Panglima Pasutan who took the initiative to move the central government in 1728, the main cause of the transfer of the central government of Deli Sultanate is the factor of economic and political factors, it is because at that time the crowds of the Strait of Malacca can provide benefits if the center of government closer to the coast and acts as a door gate of transportation toll through Deli river while the political factor to facilitate overseeing Deli delinquent kasangan, development of central government facilities, such as the Palace, Mosque, and Dock.
This research is motivated by the need for an Interactive World History Babon Book Application as a big data-based digital learning resource that can be accessed by students of the Department of History Education from all over the country. This application is needed to answer the challenges of Education in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 and the Independent Learning Curriculum of the Independent Campus. In learning world history/spatial history, lecturers and students usually only use printed teaching resources whose content is not relevant to the CPL-CPMK Department of History Education FIS UNIMED. This is because the currently available baboon printed books only contain limited material about the history of human civilization with a limit of years in the 20th century, while in the 21st century there have been drastic changes in culture and civilization experienced by humans, coupled with the outbreak of a pandemic that has plagued humans. also change the pattern of human life habits. Then the use of the interactive world history baboon book application will make it easier for students of the History Education Department to explore other learning resources in the form of multimedia such as audio, video, animation, photos, graphics, etc. In addition, the application will give students access to historical archives from the KITLV, ANRI, National Library sites, to the latest scientific articles through the national.international Journal links that will be available on the application. Therefore, research on the development of the big data-based Interactive World History Babon Book Application that is connected to it is important to do. As for the formulation of the problem, among others: 1) How to develop an interactive World History Babon book application based on Big Data as a digital learning resource for History Education Students in the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka Curriculum? 2) How is the Effectiveness of the Big Data-based interactive World History Babon book application as a digit.
The importance of developing an interactive digital ledger of the history of North Sumatra which is open access for students of history major's/study programs as a learning resource is the main background for the implementation of this research. This condition is due to the existence of printed books that currently contain limited material about the geographical, economic, and socio-cultural conditions of several regions of North Sumatra with a time limit of only the 20th century. Studies on the existence of figures and the development of art by artists, especially composers, especially musicians and composers, such as Liberty Manik with the national anthem Satu Nusa Satu Bangsa, for example, are almost untouched. Therefore, the use of the interactive digital-based History of North Sumatra ledger will greatly facilitate students in exploring learning resources in the form of digital, multimedia such as audio, video, animation, photos, graphics, and so on, especially in the current era of the covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the digital application will give students access to other sources such as historical archives from sites such as the National Library, KITLV, and the Indonesian National Archives, to the acquisition of the latest scientific articles through national and international links available on digital applications. Therefore, research on the development of an interactive digital ledger of the History of North Sumatra is very important to do.
