ABSTRAKPrevalensi wirausahawan perempuan semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Perempuan memiliki peranan yang semakin nyata dalam menyumbangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam skala global. Meskipun kajian profesionalisme dan performa wirausahawan perempuan dalam pengeloaan usaha telah banyak dikaji, namun kajian mengenai inter-relasi antara kehidupan kerja dan relasi perkawinan wirausahawan perempuan belum mendapatkan porsi yang cukup ekstensif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan fenomenologi pada enam wirausahawan perempuan di Jawa dan Bali untuk memahami pola interaksi kuasa dalam relasi perkawinan pada wirausahawan perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga bentuk interaksi kuasa yang terepresentasi pada relasi perkawinan wirausahawan perempuan, yakni dominan, egalitarian, dan subordinat. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara gaya kepemimpinan yang ditunjukkan dalam mengelola bisnis terhadap pola relasi yang dibentuk terhadap pasangan. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan relativitas peranan sosio-ekonomi dalam memprediksi interaksi kuasa yang dimanifestasikan dalam relasi perkawinan. Implikasi dari temuan ini bermanfaat bagi program revitalitasi kesehatan mental keluarga dengan konstelasi pasangan yang sama-sama berkarir. ABSTRACTThe number of women entrepreneurs is getting increased every year, so that women play important role in contributing economic growth in the global area. Despite extensive studies on the topic of women entrepreneurs, most of them are focused on the themes of professionalism and performance in the workplace. The important yet neglected issue on women entrepreneurs is their inter-relation between work life and personal life. Through phenomenological approach, the present research attempted to understand power relation in marital relationship among six women entrepreneurs in Java and Bali. The result shows that there are three forms of power relation, namely dominant, egalitarian, and subordinate. The findings give evidence the way women entrepreneurs managed the business could affect their marriage. Furthermore, the result also reflects relativity of socio-economics aspect in determining power relation in marital relationship. Implication of the present research gives perspectives on the mental health family revitalization programme in breadwinners married couples.
Human resource is one of many important aspects within a company; hence, it is imperative for the company to take the satisfaction and commitment regarding the employees into the account. Employees with a high level of loyalty will bring benefit towards the company. Preceding study shows a positive relation between job satisfaction and employee commitment. As a matter of fact, the relation between job satisfaction and employee commitment is a non-existent. This quantitative study would like to carry out the fact that the relation between job satisfaction and employee commitment exists. The researcher employs the job satisfaction scale used and adapted by Spector (2012) and organizational commitment by Mowdays, Steers, & Porter (1979) as the measurements. The population is taken from the employees working in the sector of hospitality in Bali, Indonesia which, then, become the total population study and the result shows that ρ = 0.705 and p-value = 0.000.
