Information technology is one of the needs and has an important role in the field of education. One form of utilizing technological developments in the field of education is through computer-based learning media. Computer-based learning media is a tool that helps the learning process between teachers and students in the digital era. Various types of computer-based learning media are available, but the similarities in the types of variations become obstacles in the selection process. The selection of learning media has several important elements that will determine the suitability of the science and material to be studied. The selection process with a decision support system using several criteria will help in making decisions. The TOPSIS method can identify solutions from available alternatives based on criteria. Elements of learning media which are the criteria for each alternative, namely, sound, images, video, text, animation, graphics, graphics, tutorials, interactive, visual and practical. The media element is an indicator in this research. Based on the application of the method, the results of implementation and testing in the selection process have a more spesific value between each alternative, namely the PPT alternative has a preference value of 0, the CD alternative gas a preference value of 0.4299, the video alternative has a preference value of 1 and the internet alternative has a result preference value 0.6205. Then the TOPSIS methid in selecting computer-based learning media can assist teachers in directing students to choose the type of learning media that is suitable for learning interests. The overall appearance of the system has been adapted to the needs of students to make it easier to understand and use.
Data and information in the development of digital technology have an important role. Every activity or activity that uses digital technology is related to data and information, so information security and data confidentiality are very important. To maintain information security and data confidentiality, protection with cryptographic techniques is needed. Cryptographic techniques are related to encryption, which is where the process of scrambling data is carried out and hiding data with a key system, while decryption is the process of changing the condition of the data to its original form so that it is easy to understand. There are obstacles and problems ini digital communication, so cryptographic techniques are needed that have higher level of security and can be applied in digital communications. To determine the level of security in cryptographic techniques required frequency anlysis. Frequency analysis on the NGG and GGHN algorithms is carried out to determine the level of information security based on the results of data encryption. BAse on the testing process on the NGG and GGHN algorithms, it will be known that the frequency of characters in the text varies. The more characters used in the key will affect the level of information security. The NGG algorithm has a higher level of security than the GGHN algorithm with a precentage difference of 0.000299967%. If the frequency of occurrence of characters in the message text that has been encrypted is more frequent or higher, then the level of information security in the message is lower and the password is easier to crack.
Education and technology have a close relationship in their development. The process of implementing education has results that are indicators of success in the learning process. These results are the values that are processed or calculated based on the needs of each assessment. The value processing process will provide an overview of students' capabilities in understanding and mastering subjects. At the Panca Budi Medan Vocational School (STM) school, the value processing process is carried out without using a decision support system in the process of ranking student learning outcomes. The system used only performs value processing based on the presentation of student assessment components. So that teachers need a decision-making system that can help and facilitate the process, to avoid mistakes in ranking results and can save time. In this study, the SAW method is used as a multi-attribute decision support method in the process of ranking learning outcomes so that it can assist teachers in making decisions. Processing of value recapitulation comes from the assessment components, namely daily tests, midterm, and end of the semester from aspects of assessing students' knowledge and skills for each subject. The process of calculating the ranking of learning outcomes is carried out on sample data, namely 10 alternative students and 15 subject attributes in one class for one semester. The application of the SAW method and testing on sample data resulted in student ratings, namely alternative S5 with a value of 0.994 as the highest rank and S10 with a value of 0.908 as the lowest rank. Utilization of the system and application of the SAW method can help and make it easier for teachers to process grades and rank learning outcomes. So that based on the ranking results, teachers can improve the quality of teaching and provide solutions to deficiencies in the learning process
Perkembangan dunia IT (Information Technology) saat ini mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan. Aspek kehidupan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar. Produsen sering kali sulit menentukan produk yang akan dipasarkan karena tidak mengetahui secara spesifik keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen terutama produk aksesoris handphone. Pada penelitian ini, dalam menentukan produk yang akan dipasarkan digunakan metode Weighted Product Model dan Weighted Sum Model untuk menghitung nilai alternatif berdasarkan kriteria dan kategori produk. Metode tersebut akan membantu produsen untuk memperoleh data produk yang sesuai dengan keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen berdasarkan kriteria produk yang ditetapkan. Kriteria produk yang digunakan dalam menentukan produk aksesoris handphone yang akan dipasarkan yaitu, merk, tipe, kecepatan, kapasitas dan harga. Masing-masing kriteria akan mempengaruhi nilai dalam penentuan berdasarkan bobot kriteria. Hasil akhir sistem berupa data nilai alternatif setiap kategori produk aksesoris handphone yaitu, headset, power bank dan memory card. Nilai alternatif setiap kategori produk diharapkan dapat membantu produsen dalam menentukan produk yang akan dipasarkan sesuai dengan keinginan dan kebutuhan konsumen.
