This paper presents an unconventional structure of an motor with two stators and a unique rotor with radial air-gap. The fundamental idea behind the solution presented in this paper was to use the broadest possible parts (especially plates) from standard motors, with which, incidentally, can be made technicoeconomics comparisons. Originally we studied an asynchronous variant and later our attention was directed to a synchronous machines with permanent magnets placed on the both sides of the rotor.Keywords-double stators, high specific energy permanent magnets, interchangeable rotors, electromotive voltage.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
