The objective of this study is to describe student’s creative thinking level. Creative thinking is a mental activity to find a new idea or a variety of solutions. The criteria for creative thinking are fluency, flexibility, and novelty. The subjects were eleventh grade students who had visual- spatial intelligence. The level of creative thinking analyzed based on components of creative thinking that the subject met on geometry HOTS problems. Students are given a questionnaire to find out their type of intelligence. Then, students are given open-ended questions. Based on the analysis of students answer, visual-spatial students show a higher level of creative thinking. This indicates that visual-spatial students have better creative thinking skills in learning mathematics, especially on geometry.
Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) adalah salah satu jenis neural network yang biasa digunakan pada data image. CNN bisa digunakan untuk mendeteksi dan mengenali objek pada sebuah image. Penelitian ini akan melakukan perbandingan jumlah epoch dan steps per epoch dalam melakukan klasifikasi gambar untuk mendapatkan nilai keakuratan yang tinggi. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari dua kategori, yaitu anjing dan kucing. Masing-masing kategori terdapat 100 gambar. Gambar yang digunakan berukuran 32 x 32 pixel. Pada tahap pengujian, epoch yang digunakan berjumlah 25 dan 50 serta jumlah steps per epoch 10 dan 20. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan adalah semakin banyak jumlah epoch dan steps per epoch maka semakin tinggi juga tingkat akurasi pelatihan yang didapatkan
The objective of the study is to describe students' conceptual understanding of mathematics in terms of learning styles according to Honey-Mumford's Theory. This research is descriptive qualitative with the subjects being class VII-B students of SMPN 3 Probolinggo City. Data was collected through questionnaires, tests, observations, and interviews. By data analysis of the learning style questionnaire, a subject was selected for activist, reflector, theoretical, and pragmatic learning styles. The results of the study showed that (1) activist considered the questions to be new problems, so they were enthusiastic about solving problems and showed good conceptual understanding by fulfilling all indicators, (2) reflector subjects were able to analyze information on the questions but failed to determine the steps for solving them and formulas (3) theoretical subjects draw sketches of questions before working on them and meet all indicators, and (4) pragmatic subjects tend to be practical so they work on questions without writing down information even though they understand and fulfill all indicators of conceptual understanding.
