At each stage of the development of scientific research, it is necessary to know the potential areas of this research, and their severity. The tool enabling their understanding is the bibliometric technique, which in relation to scientific research is defined as the quantitative analysis (using mathematical and statistical methods) of publications focused on the implementation of information functions regarding the development of the research area. The aim of this article is to present the results of the bibliometric analysis of scientific research on the concept of corporate social responsibility. The analysis was performed with the use of the VOSviewer software, as well as the data analysis tool available in the Web of Science base.
The practice of using environmental management systems (EMS) ISO 14001 at the organisational level indicates that the efficacy of such solutions depends on many factors, both endogenous and exogenous in nature. This article aims to identify the fac- tors that determine the opportunities for the improvement of EMS in organisations, the analysis of the relationship between the factors and the classification of the factors due to their role in the system improvement. The structural analysis was used to classify and identify the key factors and then to categorize these factors into five groups. Finally, the role of these key factors in improving environmental management systems was exam- ined. Based on the findings, guidelines can be offered to both scholars and practitioners regarding the factors crucial for the improvement of the EMS. Aiming to add value to the existing literature, the structural analysis was adapted to classification and identification of the key factors. From the point of view of practitioners, it seems to be very profitable to concentrate on the crucial factors during the process of EMS improvement.
The purpose of the article is an analysis of the concept of a socially responsible investment. On the basis of the literature, the essence and the genesis of this concept has been shown in the article. The Polish SRI market has been presented as well, in a synthetic way. The article attempts to determine the effectiveness of socially responsible investment by the example of SRI funds. This article attempts to verify the hypothesis, that the funds which take SRI into account achieve better financial results in comparison with the WIG 20. The analysis includes the following investment funds:
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
