AbstrakNyeri haid dapat mengakibatkan berkurangnya aktifitas. Studi pendahuluan menunjukkan 80% mahasiswi mengalami nyeri haid. Tindakan non-farmakologi untuk mengurangi nyeri haid dapat dilakukan melalui kompres hangat dan massage punggung. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan tindakan pengurangan nyeri kompres hangat dan massage punggung terhadap nyeri haid pada mahasiswi STIKES Aisyiyah Surakarta. Metode penelitian Quasy Eksperiment dengan non randomized control group pretest posttest design. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 mahasiswi STIKES Aisyiyah Surakarta. Uji Paired T Test dihasilkan mean kompres hangat (2.400) p value 0.000 > massage punggung (1.267) p value 0.002. Berarti Ha diterima, Ho ditolak yaitu ada perbedaan, kompres hangat lebih efektif daripada massage punggung dalam pengurangan nyeri haid. Bidan hendaknya memberikan konseling pengurangan nyeri haid dengan kompres hangat yang alami dan aman. Kata Kunci: nyeri haid, kompres hangat, pijat punggung PendahuluanCiri yang menandai masa pubertas perempuan adalah keluarnya darah haid. Pada umumnya haid akan berlangsung setiap 21-30 hari selama 2-7 hari, jumlah darah yang hilang sekitar 10-80 cc, dan tidak terasa nyeri(1). Namun adakalanya terdapat gangguan yang ada hubungannya dengan haid diantaranya amenorea, menoragia, menometroragia, perdarahan disfungsional uterusdan dismenore(2). Dismenore yaitu nyeri haid yang memaksa wanita untuk istirahat atau berakibat pada menurunnya kinerja dan berkurangnya aktifitas sehari-hari(3). Pada keadaan ini perut akan terasa nyeri dan kembung, disertai dengan mual, pusing dan nyeri sendi. Nyeri berlangsung dalam beberapa jam sampai satu hari. <p><strong>Introduction: </strong>In this globalisation era, healthiness becomes a precious thing, especially on reproduction health that becomes worldwide attention. Statistics Indonesia (<em>Badan Pusat Statistik </em>(BPS) stated 15,2% of 118 million women in Indonesia has entered the menopause period. According to the beginning survey of 10 premenopausal women, only 2 women knew menopause symptoms signs.</p><p><strong>Purpose: </strong>To analyze the correlation of the knowledge about menopause with the readiness ahead of menopause for premenopausal women.</p><p><strong>Subject and Method:</strong> The research was quantitative analytics with a cross-sectional design. The research was located in RT 02 RW 23 Wonorejo, Karanganyar. The population of the research was premenopausal women of PKK Dahlia members. The research used simple random sampling with 30 women as the samples. The data was collected by questionnaire and observation sheet. Data analysis was carried out computerized using the SPSS 20.0 program with Chi-Square statistical test.</p><p><strong>Results:</strong> There were 66,7% (20 respondents) that have high knowledge about facing menopause and there were 60% (18 respondents) that ready to face menopause. The statistic test using chi-square resulted in p-value = 0.045 (p<0.05), which means there was a correlation of the knowledge about menopause with the readiness ahead of menopause for premenopausal women.</p><p><strong>Conclusion:</strong> There was a correlation of the knowledge about menopause with the readiness of menopause for premenopausal women.</p>
