Coffee roasting is an important process in the coffee industry that determines the quality of the coffee beverage obtained. The roasting process is carried out in a cylindrical tube having high temperature. Therefore, thermal stress on the cylindrical tube (drum) should be focused. In this paper, both appropriate materials selection and optimal dimension of the roaster drum are considered. Drum is given both thermal load of 200 o C and a coffee load of 2 kg. Here, Aluminum Alloy 5083 and Stainless Steel 304 are analyzed as drum materials because these materials are recommended for foods. Finite element method is used for drum analysis with axisymmetric model. Moreover, optimal dimension of drum can be obtained by varying the length, diameter and thickness. The results show that Stainless Steel 304 is suitable material for drum under both thermal load and both thermal load of 200 o C and a coffee load of 2 kg. While, dimensions of drum are length of 450 mm and diameter of 180 mm with thickness of drum larger than 1 mm.

Electricity is an important element in various aspects of human life. Recently, electricity demands increase by increasing human population. Thus, renewable energy should be considered such as wind energy. However, prior to develop wind energy power plant, it is necessary to know the wind potential by using wind speed measurement tool. In this research, wind speed measurement tool will be designed. This tool can record and provide wind speed data where data are captured by using an optocoupler. Moreover, measurement tool also includes short message system (SMS) to access data in remote area. Therefore, designed tool is not only able to measure wind speed but also able to send data by SMS. In this study, Arduino Mega 2560 is used. Then, validation is carried out by comparing between the designed tool to standard tool . The result shows that wind speed measurement tool has been successfully developed.
Indonesia is one of the developing countries where economic growth in Indonesia is growing rapidly both materially and non-materially, this need can be in the form of procurement of goods / services. The challenge faced by micro, small and medium agro-industry players (MSMEs) is to maintain growth in local and global markets. With the Covid-19 pandemic this has also affected trade in Indonesia, namely the shifting behavior of trading patterns has changed, which was originally carried out directly (offline), now it is required to be indirect (online) so that the business continues. In realizing the success of achieving the vision in the economic sector at a broader level with the development of technology, especially in the procurement of goods / services quickly, precisely, transparently and efficiently in reaching customers. In Presidential Regulation No. 54 of 2010 concerning Government Procurement of Goods / Services, it is intended to facilitate MSMEs in carrying out marketing of goods / services through the E-Purchasing mechanism with the E-catalog system, to support government procurement in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT) to be aligned. with the changing times with the aim of making the organization more responsive, transparent and accessible so that checks and balances occur. This e-catalog is the government's way of encouraging MSMEs to rise again in the era of adapting to new habits or new normal to overcome the impact of decreased turnover in order to strengthen and empower MSMEs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
