This study aims to determine the effect of skipping combination with body weight training on cardiorespiratory endurance and BMI as an effort to prevent Covid 19 for overweight adolescents. This research is an experimental research. In this study, treatment was given in the form of skipping exercise combined with body weight training for 8 weeks with a frequency of 3 times / week, an intensity of 60%-70% MHR with a duration of 30 minutes. The population in this study were teenagers. Sampling was done by purposive sampling on adolescents aged between 17-21 years and overweight. Instrument used to measure VO2 max with MFT (multistage fitness test) and measurement of height and weight to determine BMI. The data analysis technique used prerequisite test and paired t test. Based on the results of the cardiorespiratory endurance data analysis, the t-count value was 10.495 with a significance value of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping combination with body weight training on cardiorespiratory endurance in overweight adolescents. The mean value of the cardiorespiratory endurance pretest was 34.92 and the posttest average increased to 40.05. While the results of the analysis on BMI data obtained a t-count value of 15.293 with a significance value of 0.000, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of skipping combination with body weight training on BMI in overweight adolescents. The mean value of the BMI pretest was 26.60 and the posttest average BMI decreased to 22.19. So it can be concluded that skipping exercises combined with body weight training can increase cardiorespiratory endurance and reduce BMI as an effort to prevent Covid 19 for overweight adolescents.
The study purpose. This study aims to see: (1) The difference in the effect of barbell squat and resistance band squat exercises on the increase in leg power. (2) The difference in influence between players who have high leg height and low leg length on the increase in leg power. (3) The interaction of barbell squat and resistance band squat exercises with leg length (high and low) to increase the power of volleyball extracurricular participants. Materials and Methods. This is an experimental research using a 2 × 2 factorial design. The population in this study were 38 volleyball extracurricular participants at SMA Negeri 1 Sedayu. The sample in this study may be 20 people. Instruments used for measuring: a tape measure for the length of the legs and a vertical jump for the power of the legs. The data analysis technique used was two-way ANOVA. Results. The result showed that (1) There was a significant effect between barbell squat and resistance band squat exercises on the increase in the power of volleyball extracurricular participants, with an F value of 65.789 and a significance value of p = 0.000 (<0.05). The squat group has a higher resistance band (good) compared to the barbell squat group with an average difference of 2.5. (2) There was a significant difference in the effect of players who have high leg height and low leg length on the increase in leg power of volleyball extracurricular participants, it is proven that the F value is 38.000 and the significance value is p = 0.000 (<0.05). Players who have high leg length are higher (good) compared to players who have low leg length with an average difference of 1.90. (3) There was a significant interaction between barbell squat and resistance band squat and leg length (high and low) on the leg power increase of volleyball extracurricular members, with an F value of 88.256 and a significance of p = 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusions. There was a significant difference in the effect of barbell squats and resistance band squats on increasing leg power, there was a significant difference in the effect between players who have high leg length and low leg length on the increase in leg power, and There is a significant interaction between barbell squats and squat resistance bands and leg length (high and low) on the increase in leg power of volleyball extracurricular participants.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan bodyweight dengan Total-body Resistance Exercise (TRX) terhadap Peningkatan Kekuatan Otot. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah members The Fitlab Hotel Tara. Instrumen yang digunakan leg and back dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan otot tungkai dan punggung, hand grip dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan otot tangan, dan pull and push dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatan menarik dan mendorong otot lengan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis dengan analisis uji t (paired sample t test). Hasil penelitian diperoleh persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot tungkai sebesar 6,88 %, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot punggung sebesar 10,17%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan otot tangan sebesar 10,4%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan menarik otot lengan sebesar 8,67%, persentase peningkatan pada kekuatan mendorong otot lengan sebesar 11,26%. Dengan demikian disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan bodyweight dengan total-body resistance exercise (TRX) terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot yang meliputi peningkatan kekuata otot tungkai, kekuatan otot punggung, kekuatan otot tangan, kekuatan menarik otot lengan, dan kekuatan mendorong otot lengan. The instruments that have been used are leg and back dynamometer for measure the leg and back muscle strength, hand grip dynamometer for measure the hand muscle strength, and pull and push dynamometer for measure the pulling and pushing arm muscle strength. Data analysis techniques used hypothesis testing with t test analysis (paired sample t test). Based on the results of the study obtained, the percentage increase in leg muscle strength is 6.88%, the percentage increase in back muscle strength is 10.17%, the percentage increase in the hand muscle Strength is 10.4%, the percentage increase in the strength of pulling arm muscles is 8,67%, the percentage increase in the strength of pushing arm muscles is 11.26%. Thus, it was concluded that there was a significant effect of bodyweight training with total-body resistance exercise (TRX) on increasing muscle strength including increased strength of leg muscles, strength of back muscles, strength of hand muscles, strength of pulling arm muscles, and strength of pushing arm muscles.
Body weight training menggunakan resitance band dan tanpa resistance band merupakan bentuk latihan beban yang sedang populer saat ini. Kebanyakan orang melakukan kedua latihan tersebut untuk tujuan menurunkan berat badan dan persentase lemak. Akan tetapi belum diketahui tingkat efektivitas dari latihan body weight training menggunakan resistance band dan tanpa resistance band terhadap penurunan berat badan dan persentase lemak. Penelitian ini adalah pre-experimen dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pretest dan posttest. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling, dengan member wanita berjumlah 20 orang, berjenis kelamin perempuan. Pembagian kelompok dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelompok I body weight training menggunakan resistance band dan kelompok II tanpa resistance band. Instrument yang digunakan untuk mengukur berat badan yaitu timbangan omron dengan satuan kilogram, untuk mengukur tinggi badan dengan menggunakan stadium meter dengan atuan centimeter, dan untuk mengukur persentase lemak badan menggunkan skinfold calipter. Teknik analisis data menggunakan paired t test dan independent t test untuk mengetahui ada pengaruh dan ada perbedaan terhadap sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan body weight training menggunakan resistance band terhadap penueunan berat badan dan persentase lemak dengan nilai signifikasi (p<0,05), (2) Ada pengaruh body weight training tanpa resistance band terhadap penurunan berat badan persentase lemak dengan nilai signifikasi (p<0,05). (3) Dapat dibuktikan juga bahwa latihan beban body weight training menggunkan resistance band lebih efektif dari pada tanpa resistance band terhadap penurunan berat badan dan persentase lemak pada sampel penelitian. EFFECTIVENESS OF BODY WEIGHT TRAINING TRAININGWITH AND WITHOUT USING THE RESISTANCE BANDTOWARDS WEIGHT REDUCTION AND PERCENTAGE OF FAT AbstractBody weight training using resistance bands and without resistance bands is a form of weight training that is currently popular. Most people do both exercises for the purpose of losing weight and fat percentage. However, the level of effectiveness of body weight training using resistance bands and without resistance bands for weight loss and fat percentage is unknown. This research is a pre-experiment with the research design used, namely pretest and posttest. Sampling in this study was carried out by means of purposive sampling, with 20 female members, female sex. The division of groups in this study is group I body weight training using resistance bands and group II without resistance bands. The instrument used to measure body weight is the scale of the omron in kilograms, to measure height using a stadium meter with a centimeter, and to measure the percentage of body fat using a skinfold calipter. Data analysis techniques used paired t test and independent t test to find out there is an influence and there are differences in the research sample. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant effect of body weight training using resistance bands on weight loss and fat percentage with a significant value (p <0.05), (2) There was an effect of body weight training without resistance bands on weight loss body fat percentage with a significance value (p <0.05). (3) It can also be proven that body weight training using resistance bands is more effective than without resistance bands for weight loss and fat percentage in the study sample.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh latihan circuitweight training terhadap kekuatan dan daya tahan otot.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain the one grouppretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa IKORA angkatan 2009.Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh mahasiswa prodi IKORA FIK UNYangkatan 2009 yang mengambil matakuliah konsentrasi Latihan Beban. Instrumen yangdigunakan adalah menggunakan alat ukur berupa leg & back dynamometer untukmengukur kekuatan otot tungkai, hand grip dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatanotot tangan (menggenggam), dan pull and push dynamometer untuk mengukur kekuatanotot tangan (menarik dan mendorong). Sedangkan untuk mengetahui daya tahan ototdengan melakukan tes push up, sit up dan pull up. Teknik analisis data menggunakanuji t untuk mengetahui perbedaan variabel antara pretest dan posttest pada kelompokeksperimen.Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa {t | t < - 2,160 atau t > 2,160}dengan taraf signifikansi p=0,000 < 0,05. Jadi dapat dibuktikan hipotesis penelitiansecara signifikan yaitu: (1) Latihan circuit weight training memberikan pengaruh yangsignifikan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot tungkai dengan hasil t test {t = - 4,561atau 4,561}, (2) Latihan circuit weight training tidak dapat memberikan pengaruh yangsignifikan terhadap peningkatan kekukatan otot tangan (menggenggam) dengan hasil ttest adalah {t = - 1,539 atau 1,539}, (3) Latihan circuit weight training memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot tangan (menarik) denganhasil t test {t = - 4,040 atau 4,040}, (4) Latihan circuit weight training memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kekuatan otot tangan (mendorong)dengan t test {t = - 3,998 atau 3,998}, (5) Latihan circuit weight training memberikanpengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot tubuh bagian atasdengan hasil t test {t = - 4,575 atau 4,575}, (6) Latihan circuit weight trainingmemberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot perut t test{t = - 7,590 atau 7,590}, dan (7) Latihan circuit weight training memberikan pengaruhyang signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot lengan dan bahu t test {t = - 3,782atau 3,782}.
