This study aims to analyze the strategic effectiveness of Zakat collection carried out by West Java BAZNAS. In this study the author uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques that are descriptive analysis. The data used in this study were obtained from the results of observations at the place of research, direct interviews with related sources, and collection of documentation as data collection techniques in this study. The results and findings of this study indicate that the collection of zakat made has a decrease. Where there are internal factors of West Java BAZNAS that have not been optimal and public awareness in carrying out zakat is still low. This research is expected to be a reference for zakat institutions, academics, and the public about the need for support in collecting zakat.

This article discusses the modification of three step iteration method to solve nonlinear equations f(x)=0. The new iterative method is formed from a combination of Newton, Halley, and Chebyshev methods. To reduce the number of evaluation functions, some derivatives in this method are estimated by Taylor polynomials. Using analysis of convergence we show that the new method has the order of convergence fourteen. Numerical computation shows that the new method are comparable to other methods discussed.

This study aims to examine the effect of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and consumer satisfaction on online purchasing behavior. This study used 200 respondents taken from the general public living in the area of Batam. The type of data used in this study is the interval scale. Scaling method used in the instrument of Likert scale with 5 rating categories. Data processing techniques in this study using software program SPSS 17. The results of this study indicate that the variables perceived ease of use, variable perceived usefulness, and consumer satisfaction effect on online purchasing behavior either partially or simultaneously. For further research is expected to increase the number of samples, change the sample or add research variables.

Penelitian ini didasari oleh penelitian terdahulu mengenai model pembelajaran dalam peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang mengidentifikasi bahwa banyak nilai siswa yang masih rendah. Peneliti bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi di sekolah dengan menerapkan berbagai macam model pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dan bentuk penelitian ialah penelitian kepustakaan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan dokumentasi yang menelusuri dari berbagai macam literature serta analisis data menggunakan analisis kritis terhadap dokumen penelitian. Hasil yang ditunjukan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan berbagai macam model pembelajaran sehingga siswa dapat menyimpannya dalam long term memory mereka.
