Parametric study on the turbojet engines used in modern-day aircraft. The parameter selected for the study was the Distance between the intake holes present in the combustion tube or “flame tube,” and its effect was observed on the jet’s thrust force and thrust force/Kg. This study is entirely research-based. A density study in the combustion tube is done using a CFD solver for validating the assumptions. The changes in the density directly or indirectly define all the properties necessary for change in the thrust values. The relation is based on the accuracy of the model and the simulation. Hence, proper modeling and fine meshing have been done to obtain accurate results. The main objective of this study is to predict a relationship between the thrust force per kg of fuel to the distances between the primary and secondary holes in a flame tube.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
