The purpose of this study is to describe the decision making and implementation of the uzlah and gerbat techniques by the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School from Sukorejo Situbondo as an educational institution supported by 12,247 boarding students, for preventing Covid-19 transmission. This was a qualitative research using ethnography and hermeneutics data analysis. The outcome was to consider the decision to apply the uzlah and gerbat techniques, because both techniques are historical, theological, and follow the government's recommendations in deciding the distribution of Covid-19. While the implementation, among others: 1) uzlah technique: students are expelled from the Islamic boarding school complex and activated by outsiders. 2) gerbat technique, namely the reading of prayers to avoid a plague. In approving the transmission of Covid-19, Islamic boarding schools balance the technique of uzlah and gerbat, harmonize the lahiriyah (visible) and batiniyah (invisible) approaches.
Access to social justice to obtain their rights for the outskirts of the forest in Baluran Situbondo is something difficult. One of them, because of years of conflict. The source of conflict in forest management occurs because of differences between the community and Baluran National Park. These differences, for example due to different perceptions, different knowledge, different values, different interests, and differences in recognition of ownership rights. One offer is the concept of collaborative management, a form of management that accommodates some of the interests of all stakeholders fairly and considers the value of each stakeholder as an equal entity in accordance with the applicable values in order to achieve common goals. The focus of this research is empowering da'wah; namely the propaganda of advocacy, the preaching of economic empowerment, and the propagation of the religious field with environmental insight. Method: using a participatory rural appraisal (PRA) research approach. Results: First, the field of advocacy propaganda; which aims to make the public regain the power of management system, the power of ownership, and the power of unity system that is lost. Second, the mission of economic empowerment is environmentally sound; this program is to improve community welfare and increase community participation in the maintenance of the surrounding environment. Third, the religious field that aims to provide an understanding of environmental fiqh so that the community has a concern about the surrounding environment
Document grouping is a necessity among a large number of articles published on internet. Several attempts have been done to improve this grouping process, while majority of the efforts are based on word appearance. In order to improve its quality, the grouping of documents need to be based on topic similarity between documents, instead of the frequency of word appearance. The topic similarity could be known from its latency, since the similarity of the word interpretation are often used in the same context. In the unsupervised learning process, SOM is often used, in which this approach simplifies the mapping of multi-dimension data. This research result shows that implementation of the latent structure decreases characteristic dimension by 32% of the word appearance, hence makes this approach more time efficient than others. The latent structure, however, when implemented on SOM Algorithm, is capable to obtain good quality result compared to word appearance frequency approach. It is then proven by 5% precision improvement, recall improvement of 3%, and another 4% from F-measure. While the achievement is not quite significant, the quality improvement is able to put the dominance of grouping process, compared to the original classification defined by the content provider.
Liberalization of education is an educational ideology that is student-oriented, so that the long-term goal of education is to preserve and improve the existing social order by teaching each student how to deal with problems in his own life effectively. The concept of liberalism on education implicitly leads to the concept of integrative education "in line with Islamic education", where educational liberalism emphasizes the principle of problem solving when referring to the main concept of educational liberalism, the expected goal is about integration between theory and practice. Specifically, the concept of integrative Islamic education in liberalism ideology is seen through several things such as; foundation, objectives, methods and evaluation.
