Derivation is a model for linguistic study in Arabic which is not only important to be introduced to Arabic Department students but also urgent in teaching Arabic, especially in Islamic colleges/universities such as STAIN, IAIN, and UIN to widen students' horizon and develop Arabic teaching system itself as well. Furthermore, one of the functions of derivational system or al-istiqaq is as a medium for reproducing new vocabularies (lexis). This should be realized and considerably important in response to stigmatization found in Arabic teaching where Arabic is believed as the language of religion and therefore did not develop and change.
The study aims to investigate the knowledge of junior high school students on Islamic religious education materials and the social awareness of the Minangkabau religious social activist community. The subject matter of Islamic education is al-Quran, al-Hadith, al-Tarikh, al-Fiqh, al-Akhlaq, al-Aqidah and Arabic language. The research method is community based research. The general steps of the CBR are cycles in four stages, namely, laying the foundation, planning, gathering/analyzing information and action to finding. This study involves junior high school students and the community of Minangkabau religious social activist. This study found that these students have poor Islamic religious knowledge in seven materials. The Minangkabau religious social activists have a high social awareness when activities strengthen formal education with Islamic non-formal education is carried out. The study also provides recommendations on the need for further on finding action for the development of madrasah diniyah takmilyah wustha (MDTW) by exploring Minangkabau values. The findings of this study have implied that this research is an effort that can be done to stop the “silent or slow running phase” of the Minangkabau (surau) mosque and madrasa. This study has also reaffirms that Minangkabau surau and madrasah are not lost or will be lost in Minangkabau, West Sumatra Indonesia.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengetahuan siswa SMP pada materi pendidikan agama Islam dan kesadaran sosial dari komunitas aktivis sosial religius minangkabau. Subyek pendidikan Islam adalah materi al-Quran, al-Hadits, al-Tarikh, al-Fiqh, al-Akhlaq, al-Aqidah dan bahasa Arab. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian berbasis komunitas (community based research). Langkah-langkah umum CBR adalah siklus dalam empat tahap: meletakkan fondasi, perencanaan, pengumpulan / analisis informasi dan tindakan untuk menemukan. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa SMP dan komunitas aktivis sosial keagamaan minangkabau. Studi ini menemukan bahwa para siswa ini memiliki pengetahuan agama Islam yang buruk dalam tujuh materi. Para aktivis sosial keagamaan minangkabau memiliki kesadaran sosial yang tinggi ketika kegiatan memperkuat pendidikan formal dengan pendidikan non-formal Islam dilakukan. Studi ini juga memberikan rekomendasi tentang perlunya untuk lebih lanjut menemukan tindakan untuk pengembangan madrasah diniyah takmilyah wustha (MDTW) dengan mengeksplorasi nilai-nilai minangkabau. Temuan penelitian ini telah mengimplikasikan bahwa penelitian ini merupakan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menghentikan "fase diam atau lari perlahan" surau dan madrasah minangkabau. The main problem in this paper is Amtsal, which is the style of the Qur'anic language by providing parables. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the concept of amtsal Nûr Al-Dîn 'Itr in his work 'Ulum al-Qur'an al-karîm. The type of research that the author uses is library research with the analysis method of character study interpretation. The primary data source in this research is the book 'Ulum al-Qur'an al-karim by Nûr Al-Dîn 'Itr. From the research that the author conducted, it can be concluded that: (1) The majority of scholars limit Amtsal only to the concept of taswir sentences, while others do not include Amtsal in their discussion of the Qur'an. (2) Nûr Al-Dîn 'Itr includes the discussion of Amtsal in his book 'Ulum al-Qur'an al-karim in the sciences of the Qur'an, while others include the discussion of mutlaq muqayyad, mantuq mafhum which discussion This is a discussion in the science of ushul fiqh.
Minang or Minangkabau is an ethnic cultural group that adheres to a distinctive customary system, namely a family system according to female lineage which is called the matrilineal system. In Minangkabau culture, marriage is one of the important events in the life cycle and is a very significant transitional period in forming a small group of new families to continue the lineage. For the Minangkabau people who are Muslim, marriages are carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage. There are 2 (two) types of marriages for the Minangkabau indigenous people, namely: 1) Ideal marriage, namely marriage between close families such as children from nephews; 2) Abstinence marriage, namely marriage that cannot be carried out like the child of a mother or father. There are 2 (two) marriage procedures for the Minangkabau indigenous people, namely: 1) Marriage according to female relatives, namely the woman who is the initiator in marriage and in household life, from starting to find a mate to carrying out the marriage; 2) Marriage according to male relatives, namely the man who is the initiator in marriage and households, from starting to find a mate to carrying out the marriage and daily living expenses. The form of marriage in Minangkabau has changed according to the times. Previously, a husband meant nothing in the wife's family, now it is the husband who is responsible for his family
AbstrakTulisan ini berusaha mengungkap pengaruh bahasa Arab terhadap bahasa Minangkabau, dan berusaha mencari hubungan antar bahasa tersebut. Kedudukkan bahasa Arab sebagai bahasa al-Qur"an sebagai bahasa kitab suci, kemudian berkembang dan menyebar hampir ke seluruh wilayah dan negeri di dunia ini seiring berkembangnya agama Islam ke berbagai daerah termasuk Minangkabau. Sejarah pun membuktikan bahwa bahasa Arab memiliki pengaruh yang sangat besar dalam perkembangan kosakata dalam bahasa Minangkabau. Oleh karena itu, tulisan ini mencoba menelusur kosakata bahasa Arab yang masuk dalam Minangkabau. Kajian ini membuktikan bahwa ada lebih dari 500 kosakata Minangkabau yang merupakan serapan dari bahasa Arab, dan tentunya kajian ini akan lebih panjang lagi jika diteliti lebih jauh dari setiap daerah yang ada di Minangkabau. Constitute Arabic as the language of the Qur'an as the language of scripture, then expand and spread almost to all regions and countries in this world as the development of Islam to various regions including Minangkabau. History also proves that Arabic has a very big influence in the development of vocabulary in Minangkabau language. Therefore, this paper tries to trace the Arabic vocabulary that goes into Minangkabau. This study proves that there are more than 500 Minangkabau vocabulary which is the absorption of Arabic, and of course this study will be much longer if examined further from every area in Minangkabau.
