This paper focuses on the evaluation of the approach to risk management in management systems in technical industries. The underlying framework is the updated standard ISO 9001 which is compared to the requirements of specific standards for the automotive industry, the aviation industry, the railway industry and the chemical and processing industries that fall under major accident prevention (SEVESO). This article aims to compare the requirements of these management systems for individual areas from the perspective of systemic risk prevention.
This paper deals with a design and a shape optimization of a tool that combines punching of a tarpaulin with the tarpaulin grommet pressing in one operation. The tarpaulin grommet 0.5 mm thick with a diameter of 10 mm is made of DX51D+Z275MAC steel. The designed tool and its main shape dimensions are verified by using a numerical simulation in an ANSYS Workbench software and subsequently also by a practical experiment, i.e. verification and debugging functionality in cooperation with H + D kovo company.
This article compares the most commonly used methods of statistical quality control (control charts -in our case the control chart of individual values) with the Taguchi's method of Partial Correction. The comparison applies to an actual process of hole reaming, and a test is carried out of gradual change of setting (continuously increasing simulation deviation).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
