The main link in the logistics supply chain is the cargo customs complex. It provides customs and logistics services to cargo owners during the export and import of goods, complex services, placement of goods in a customs warehouse and a temporary storage warehouse. To substantiate the choice of the optimal logistics supply chain and optimize the work of the cargo customs complex, it is proposed to use simulation modeling. The model of operation of the logistics chain and the cargo customs complex is presented in a general form. The proposed model is implemented in the GPSS World simulation automation package. Testing the simulation model involved checking its adequacy. Checking the adequacy of the simulation model, which showed the maximum value of the t-statistic of 1.424 with a critical value of 1.85, proved its compliance with the work of a real object. After completing the adequacy check, the simulation error was estimated, which was 3 % with an allowable 5 %, due to the presence of pseudo-random number generators in the simulation model. Thus, the simulation error is insignificant for this study. For the cargo customs complex, an example of the simulation results is given. Based on the results of simulation modeling, it is possible to determine: the optimal type of the logistics supply chain and the optimal structure of the cargo customs complex. A wide range of tasks that the proposed simulation model can solve is presented. Thus, the developed simulation model will make it possible to analyze and improve the modes of operation of the cargo customs complex. In addition, it will allow to get an informed decision regarding the use of a certain type of logistics supply chain
Purpose. Carry out the formation of a new route and transport network in the city of Marganets and a comparative assessment of the routes of the existing and proposed route and transport network. Methodology. The design of a rational route transport network was carried out using methods of combinatorial analysis, graph theory was used to develop a topological scheme of routes, the search and final selection of "candidate" routes was performed on the basis of analytical methods. Findings. The formation of the outgoing route transport network of Marganets was completed; precinct routes were checked for compliance with the maximum permissible traffic interval; the search for "candidate" routes satisfying the condition of not exceeding the maximum allowable interval was performed; a rational route transport network of the city of Marganets was developed using the method of directed selection; determined the time spent by passengers traveling on the route network; a comparative evaluation of the effectiveness of existing and developed routes was performed. Originality. The research carried out on the process of transporting passengers on the transport network of the city of Marganets allowed to improve the passenger route network to improve the quality of transport services for the city’s population. Practical value. The practical significance of the work is that the implementation of the developed rational passenger route network will improve the quality of transport services for the population of Marganets, reduce the time spent by passengers on the approach to the bus stops and improve the quality of passenger service.
The purpose of the study is dedicated to improving the quality of sorting process using the developed method to determine rational regimes of the train breaking up. These modes provide maximum of reliability division of the wagon cuts at switches, as well as the possibility of implementing a safe speed collision of wagons in marshalling tracks. Methodology. Investigations of the separations of the cut of the train at switches were carried out using simulation modeling. For research, we used the model for the running cut from sorting hump, which allows us to realize the set exit speeds from the brake positions when adjusting the braking zone of the cut. Findings. A quantitative assessment of the indicators of the sorting process was carried out using the developed method for optimizing the braking modes of the cuts to control the process of decomposition of trains on one of the sorting hump of Ukraine. The performed analysis of the results showed sufficient efficiency of the developed method, which can be recommended for calculating the exit speeds of cuts from brake positions in automation systems of the sorting process. The braking modes obtained as a result of optimization can provide a sufficiently high quality of interval regulation, as well as the possibility of realizing a safe approach speed of cuts to vagons on the sorting paths of automated humps. The scientific novelty of the work is to prove the effectiveness of the considered method of optimizing the composition breaking mode. Practical value of the thesis as well as developed models and methods can be used to create an automated process control system for breaking up of the stocks on sorting humps, as well as to assess the quality of the construction of projected sorting humps. Automation of humps will help to improve the economic performance of stations, reduce the cost of processing cars, save energy for braking cuts and shunting, improve working conditions and safety of workers of the sorting hump.
Abstract. The aim of the paper is to justify the decision on cooperation with entities in the transport service market for foreign trade operations based on the assessment of logistics chain reliability and shipping time on different routes. The research findings will enable cargo owners and other stakeholders to make management decisions at the delivery planning stage optimizing all processes related to customs and logistics services. Methods. We assess the reliability of four logistics chain types based on a simulation model developed in the GPSS software environment using the method of statistical testing. Results. Customs and logistics service users challenge entities in the transport service market with the task of performing foreign trade operations in compliance with the highest level of quality and service reliability minimizing the cost of delivery and shipping time. The proposed method allows determining the probability of timely delivery of goods in different transportation directions as well as the reliability of the studied process. Scientific novelty. The obtained simulation results will make it possible to work out proposals and recommendations for customs and logistics service users on the choice of an optimal logistics chain type, taking into account its impact on shipping time and reliability of goods delivery. Practical value. The practical value of the research is that the proposed method will allow foreign economic entities to form logistics chains, taking into account available resources and the need to use the services of other companies in international goods delivery. In this case, the efficiency of a logistics chain can be further assessed by the shipping time and reliability for export/import operations.
The object of this study is the process of goods delivery in international road transport using various types of logistics chains. The problem being solved is due to the need to develop recommendations for exporters of goods to reformat or design new supply chains during wartime. The expediency of organizing foreign trade operations by the cargo owners' own forces or with the involvement of enterprises providing logistics consulting services is considered. A simulation model of goods delivery in international road traffic was built and implemented in the GPSS World simulation automation package. The model involves the optimization of organizational and technological processes related to the activity of both a separate link and the entire supply chain. The study takes into account the components of the time characteristics of the performance of preparatory work when establishing cooperation with institutions and organizations, as well as the direct service of the exporter. The application of the developed model in practical activities will provide an opportunity for exporters to obtain information about the duration and reliability of the stages of a foreign trade operation and the feasibility of involving consulting enterprises in cooperation. At the same time, the simulation results reflect the performance indicators of the proposed supply chains when delivering goods by road transport along various routes. The proposed simulation model will make it possible to reduce the time spent searching for links in the formation of a supply chain by 8–12 %, and the duration of a foreign trade operation by 10–14 %. Thus, the reliability of cooperation with intermediary organizations will increase by 8–11 %
