Abstract-In this paper we investigate the model of Oldroyd Fluid in a bounded smooth region of Rn (n = 2, 3) with control supported in a small subset of this domain. Under suitable assumptions on the Galerkin basis, we introduce Galerkin's approximations for the Oldroyd fluid system. Using the Hilbert Uniqueness Method in combination with the Schauder's fixed point, we prove the exact controllability for this finite-dimensional system. In this work we investigate the existence of global weak solutions and asymptotic behavior for a contact problem associated with a nonlinear, generalized thermoelastic coupled system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
