The paper presents a study based on numerical simulation methods of electrical circuits which analyzes the influence of the internal protection elements of the transformer on atmospheric surges. The difference between the time variation curves of the overvoltages propagated during the high voltage winding with and without guard ring is shown as an internal protection element of the transformer.
The paper presents a study related to the methodology for evaluating the wind potential of a chosen location, with the help of modern software solutions for analysis and specialized design. The values presented in the study show the differences in the efficiency of wind farms depending on their location, the available input data package and their accuracy being a determining factor in the quality of optimization and design of the wind farm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
