This paper presents an empirical investigation to study the relationship between social capital and organizational commitment. The study considers the relationship between social capital with three components of organizational commitment; namely, affective commitment, continuous and normative commitment. The study has been applied among a sample of 292 regular employees who worked for an Iranian bank located in city of Tehran, Iran. The implementation of Pearson correlation has indicated that there were positive and meaningful relationships between social capital and affective commitment (r = 0.197, Sig. = 0.01), continuous (r = 0.308, Sig. = 0.01) and normative commitment (r = 0.423, Sig. = 0.01). In addition, the study has detected that women had more commitment on their organization than men did. The proposed study of this paper has also considered a regression model where organizational commitment is dependent variable and trust and communication are considered as independent variables. According to the results of regression analysis, an increase of one unit in trust and social capital communication will increase organizational commitment by 0.189 and 0.204, respectively.
The movement of industrial societies towards implementation of information technology has begun and it has gained moment since early 90th and presently the speed of this movement is well obvious in less developed countries, including Iran. Internet Banking is one of the most tangible trends in today’s electronic commerce. It has direct relationship with the perception of the service qualities not only because of unique absorption of the internet, but also because of e-commerce, acceptance of internet services of banks by clients and the tendency for using such services. This paper investigates different factors influencing on acceptance of electronic banking in private banks versus public banks in a case study of two Iranian banks namely; Eqtesade Novin and Sepah using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Correlation test reveals that there was a positive and significant relationship between clients of private and public bank on five factors associated with TAM. In addition, structural equation method was used for investigation of relationships in offered model. In conclusion, all primary and secondary hypotheses for clients of private and public bank were confirmed
This paper performs an empirical investigation on employees' business intelligence and customer relationship management and their effects on customer satisfaction. The proposed study has been implemented among 625 people, 240 sales representative and 385 regular customers, who are involved with products of an Iranian automaker named Iran Khodro. The proposed study designs three questionnaires in Likert scale for business intelligence, customer relationship management and customer satisfaction and Cronbach alpha have been calculated for these three questionnaires as 0.85, 0.84 and 0.78, respectively. The study distributes the questionnaires among groups, employees as well as customers, and using one-way t-student test as well as regression technique the study finds that business intelligence and customer relationship management are within an acceptable limit (P< 0.01) and they positively influence on customers' satisfaction (P < 0.01).
This paper performs an investigation on measuring the effect of different factors on customer relationship management (CRM) for different branches of an Iranian banks located in various regions of city of Tehran, Iran. The proposed study selects a sample of 275 managers and using structural equation modeling examines the effects of five variables including CRM knowledge, employment's information technology skills, specialty, strategic use, CRM performance on the performance of CRM. Cronbach alpha has been calculated for the questionnaire as 0.881, which is well above the minimum acceptable level. The survey has concluded that there were meaningful relationships between all four mentioned variables and performance of CRM. In other words, knowledge and information technology influence on improving employments' skills, which increase strategic use of CRM components and this would improve CRM performance.
Consumer behavior plays an important role on purchasing goods and services from food chain stores. In this paper, we present a study to detect important factors impacting consumer behavior on Iranian food industry, named Shahrvand. The proposed study selects 384 customers who made some purchases during the year of 2012. Structural equation modeling has been performed to detect important factors influencing compulsive buying including emotional instability, attractive appearance, social recognition, financial success. Cronbach alphas have been calculated for these four mentioned items were well above 0.80, which validated the overall questionnaire of the survey. The results of our survey have confirmed that all four independent variable influenced positively on compulsive buy, significantly.
