In their paper the authors describe distinct transcriptomic changes associated to treatment response in core bone marrow biopsies from patients with acute myeloid leukaemia. This finding raises the possibility that stratifying patients for treatment according to their transcriptomic profiles could improve patients' response and prognosis. Commentary on: Treaba et al.
