The theoretical foundations and principles of computer planning for functional rhinosurgical interventions are proposed in this paper. The theoretical base, stages and possibilities of computer planning for functional nasal surgery are described. Computed surgical planning should be based on a complex anatomical and functional model, that combines data from X-ray computed tomography (X-ray CT) with the results of functional studies from rhinomanometry. Practical recommendations for evidence based surgical computer planning are discussed. Future of proposed method is to study the effect of various anatomical structures of the nasal cavity on the aerodynamic characteristics of the nasal airways and the creation of a database with containing information about the type changes of nasal resistance at typical rhinosurgical interventions Streszczenie. W artykule zostały zaproponowane podstawy teoretyczne i zasady komputerowego planowania zabiegów neurochirurgii czynnościowej. Zostały opisane podstawy teoretyczne, etapy i możliwości planowania komputerowego w czynnościowej chirurgii nosa. Planowanie komputerowe w chirurgii powinno bazować na kompleksowym anatomicznym i funkcjonalnym modelu, który zawiera wyniki rentgenowskiej tomografii komputerowej i badań funkcjonalnych rynomanometrii. Zostały omówione praktyczne zalecenia dotyczące komputerowego planowania opartego na dowodach w chirurgii. Przyszłością zaproponowanej metody jest zbadanie wpływu różnych struktur anatomicznych jamy nosowej na charakterystyki aerodynamiczną nosowych dróg oddechowych i stworzenie bazy danych zawierającej informacje o zmianach oporu nosowego przy typowych zabiegach neurochirurgicznych (Zasady planowania komputerowego w czynnościowej chirurgii nosa).
Individual anatomical features of the paranasal sinuses and dentoalveolar system, the complexity of physiological and pathophysiological processes in this area, and the absence of actual standards of the norm and typical pathologies lead to the fact that differential diagnosis and assessment of the severity of the course of odontogenic sinusitis significantly depend on the measurement methods of significant indicators and have significant variability. Therefore, an urgent task is to expand the diagnostic capabilities of existing research methods, study the significance of the measured indicators, and substantiate the expediency of their use in the diagnosis of specific pathologies in an automated mode. Methods of digital filtering, image segmentation and analysis, fluid dynamics, and statistical and discriminant analysis were used. Preliminary differential diagnosis of odontogenic sinusitis can be performed by densitemetric analysis of tomographic images of the maxillary sinuses, performed using frontal multiplanar reconstructions according to a given algorithm. The very manifestation of the characteristic changes in the densitography of the maxillary sinus allows for the initiation of certain pathological processes and permits the development of the effectiveness of the diagnosis of the pathology of the sinus sinuses, which can be realized automatically in real life.
The paper herein considers the study of convective heat transfer in flat plate solar collectors, as it is seen from the analysis on research of the heat transfer by a circular and flat tubes upon conforming the forced and free convections, placed vertically or horizontally with various liquid flow directions. There have been obtained Nusselt criterion dependencies in circular and flat pipes, which shows that corresponding equations allow defining the heat transfer intensity for all fluids with appropriate accuracy. As well there has been studied Prandtl criterion for fluids, which plays an important role in points spacing as regard to the curve. In each case the lines are with a tip 1/3, as in the research herein only the laminar conditions have been considered.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
