ABSTRACTObjective: Is to address the work-related injuries under the interdisciplinary optics, directed energy to industrial and electric shock. Method: This is a non-epidemiological, literature review study. Data collection occurred from June to July 2016. Results: The study of occupational accidents, especially those related to electric shock, may have better prospects for prevention, environmental control, individual control and collective, diagnosis, reporting and treatment of cases with the interdisciplinary interaction of medical science involving occupational medicine, medicine forensic, forensics and infortunístic, based in the consistent legislation and jurisprudence on the subject. Conclusion: Thus, despite the obligation to report the accident at work, with a defined penalty for companies that do not comply, many cases are not taken to Social Security. Thus, injury is estimated not only from the point of view of workers' rights, but also damages in official epidemiological data, reflecting the ability to prevent accidents and control risks.
