THE rarity of tumours of neuroglial tissue in the nasal and oral regions warrants the publication of two additional cases.
Case IClinical history. A female infant, born in Hackney Hospital by normal labour a t full term and then weighing 6 Ib. 14 oz. The mother was aged 26 years ; it was her first pregnancy and there was no abnormality during it. The baby cried at once and showed no signs of asphyxia. A mass was noticed in the palate displacing the uvula to the left and also palpable in the right maxillary region. This caused severe dysphagia from the first ; by the second day it had grown rapidly and there was respiratory stridor. The infant died 3 days after birth. J. PATH. BACT.-VOL. LVIII
