Buschke-Löwenstein tumor is a rare sexually transmitted disease, characteristic of immunosuppressed patients, associated with the human papillomavirus infection, being the 6 and 11 serotypes most frequently involved. Some authors consider it a low-grade squamous cell carcinoma, whereas others consider it as a transitional form between squamous cell carcinoma and condylomata acuminata.
