Since before, many religions have used Zamzam water because they used it for treatment and other spiritual activities. This study reviews the composition, hydrology, and the effect of Zamzam water on human health. Zamzam water differs from regular water. Mineral deposits show it is alkaline and biologically has no biotic growth, and does not show toxicity signs. Zamzam is well-focused based on the expenditure of Makah hill. Zamzam well has been used for about 4000 years. Zamzam water is used for the treatment of many diseases. The data on Zamzam water composition, hydrology, and health benefits have been narratively reviewed. Future research is needed to investigate the other benefits and uses of Zamzam water on human health as antioxidants, antimicrobial, and its effects on cancer patients.
Background
Vaccination against Covid-19 reduces the risk of getting an infection and provides strong protection against serious illnesses and death combined with existing prevention measures, this study aimed to determine short-term side effects that a raised after the Covid-19 vaccine was received.
Methodology
A descriptive cross-sectional hospital-based study included 100 Healthcare Workers (HCWs) in Sob University Hospital. Data was collected using a structured interview questionnaire and analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences.
Results
Among 100 participants near to half (42%) were in the age group of (20 – 30) years and above two thirds (61%) of the study were female and 31% were registered nurses. Most of them 91% received the AstraZeneca vaccine. This current study showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the onsets of symptoms with a type of vaccine (AstraZeneca) with a p-value of 0.001. In addition to a statistically significant relationship between muscular pain, fever, Itching as a side effect, and AstraZeneca) with p value less than 0, 05.
Conclusion
The study concluded that most of those who took the vaccination of Covid-19 experienced short-term side effects including chills, fever, muscle pain, and headache after receiving the vaccine after each dose but they did not develop diarrhea.
AIM: To assess the quality of life for women undergoing in vitro fertilization. SETTING: The study was conducted at Hawaa private center at Benha city. DESIGN:A descriptive design was used. A purposive SAMPLE of 60 women undergoing in vitro fertilization in the stage of succeeded controlled ovarian hyper-stimulation. TOOLS of data collection consisted of an interviewing questionnaire sheet and Hopkins symptom checklist for measuring quality of life. RESULTS: More than two thirds of studied women were unsatisfied regarding physical fitness in the stage of succeeded controlled ovarian hyper-stimulation. Also in this stage, there was significant difference between age groups as regards the score percent of physical, social and psychological fitness. Also two thirds of the studied women were satisfied regarding social fitness during the stage of embryo transfer. CONCLUSION: In vitro fertilization had a bad effect regarding all domains in stage of succeeded controlled ovarian hyper-stimulation but studied women were more satisfied regarding physical, social and psychological fitness in stage of embryo transfer than stage of succeeded controlled ovarian hyper-stimulation. RECOMMENDATION: Developing training programs by faculty of nursing staff regarding in vitro fertilization for nurses who are working in fertility clinics to provide proper counseling services for the infertile couples.
