AbstractAssistive Technology (AT) is an area that develops the functional capacities of people with disabilities, disabilities or reduced mobility, helping quality of life and social inclusion. The 3D printer proves new confections of TA devices, made by occupational therapists, aiding in the occupational performance of users. This research presents as general objective to reflect on the development of researches with prosthetics in the 3D printer in LABTA. After observing the dynamics of the laboratory, an open questionnaire was applied to four members in order to know and identify the work routine and processes of the 3D Printer in the manufacture of prosthesis in LABTA. It has been observed that the 3D printer is an innovative and current resource, which provides great contribution in the manufacture of prostheses, pieces of Assistive Technology, made with low cost, in a fast and extremely personalized way, bringing every day new possibilities of clinical performances in the therapy occupational and ways of rehabilitating and re-meaning the life of the client from the modeling of his piece to the training with the prostheses and utensils. Keywords: 3D printer; LABTA; Assistive technology; Occupational therapy.
