This article introduces concepts of 5G networks and presents a mathematical model of network interference caused by a sudden increase in the number of users. Fluctuations of the number of users cause a non stationary network traffic and the usual tools have little use. So, the proposed model is obtained through the stochastic integration of the differential equation that describes the treated non stationary phenomena. Monte Carlo simulations were made, then, to be compared with the analytical results, showing that the simulations corresponded to the expected. The stochastic integral revealed to be efficient to attack the problem. Therefore, with the proper modelling, it is possible to research techniques for mitigating the epidemic interference.
This paper determines the optimum Photovoltaic (PV) system sizing to install at SENAI CIMATEC. The objective is to evidence the economics and environmental advantages of PV production to supply the CIMATEC loads. The Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewable (HOMER) Grid software is used, and the local solar radiation, the CIMATEC load profile, and the costs of the components are considered as the input data in the sizing process. The results show that the 2,100 kW is the optimum PV system size to CIMATEC, and the benefits of PV generation are not just economic but also environmental. Approximately R$ 1.2 million are saved annually using the energy generated by the PV system instead of the electric grid, and more than 1,800 tons per year of CO2 are not emitted.
This paper introduces the state-of-art of electrical vehicles, hybrids and charger station currently available. Based at Corredor Verde project, a partnership among SENAI CIMATEC, GESEL, SINAPSIS, UFABC and ABB by 22/2018 ANEEL/COELBA work call aiming the implementation of 17 charger stations between Salvador/BA and Natal/RN cities. It is discussed those technologies challenges along more than 100.000km to be covered by the stations and project´s vehicles. Furthermore, the study and usage of those technologies will permit a new business model study based at electrical network measurements and vehicle behavior over urban and highway scenario, therefore allowing a new scalability perspective about the implementation of this new transport mode in Brazil, where allied with government and industry this new transport mode is also drawing attention from of electrical companies once this mode presents a unknow scenario in terms of impact over the power supply demand, electrical transmission and distribution required to supply it. As main conclusion of this paper it is quote the strong and weak side of currently architectures applied onto vehicles and charger stations, and a briefing regarding the battery's technologies, a stress point of this new transport mode.
Hybrid energy production systems provide greater stability, constancy and reliability to the generation system by implementing different energy sources. However, there are technological and regulatory challenges that need to be overcome. The article aims to present the concept of technology applied at a global level, through a literature review of patents published in the last five years. Identifying hybrid power generation systems with varied configurations and arrangements between energy sources. The high potential for expansion of the hybrid plant can be seen in the creation of technologies and development of control systems, aiming at future consolidation in the energy market.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
