This article presents the analysis of the results of scientific articles published in three national journals in the area of science education during the years 2008 to 2018 and which deal with the themes Modern and Contemporary Physics in high school. The survey in the electronic database of the journals surveyed returned 78 articles in consultation with the keywords "Modern physics", "Contemporary Physics" and "High school", which after a more careful analysis of its contents, there were 40 articles directly related to research topic in discussion. It was observed that most of the research during this decade aims to suggest didactic activities for classroom application of Modern and Contemporary Physics (MCF) concepts, although less than half of these include in their methodology the application of the suggested activity in a real environment of teaching learning.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
