The use of internet facilities to support mobility needs in the campus environment such as browsing, downloading and uploading data is an unavoidable condition. Implementation of bandwidth management on campus networks which acts as a bandwidth divider so that it is evenly distributed by adapting the PCQ method to the proxy router device and Wireless Distribution System (WDS) technique so that the signal coverage becomes wider. Analysis conducted on Quality of Service (QoS) in the form of measurements of the quality of internet bandwidth through testing parameters download, upload, throughput, delay, jitter, and packet loss. The test was conducted at the hotspot which is located at several points of the STTM campus social facilities. Based on test results, obtained data before the application of the PCQ method in the form of throughput of 32.76%, jitter of 94.36 ms, delay of 46.83 ms, and packet loss of 20.74%. After the PCQ method is applied there is a change in the results of the parameter test value, the throughput is 41.53%, jitter is 52.48 ms, the delay is 33.62 ms, and the packet loss is 12.57%.
In Indonesia, especially the province of South Kalimantan is a province with a high frequency of forest and wetland fires. These fires seem to be a routine annual natural disaster. BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency) and BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) Central Kalimantan recorded that during 2014 to early 2019, the largest area of forest and wetlands fires in Central Kalimantan occurred in 2015 with a total burned area of 583,833.44 ha. The fire early detection monitoring system that will be made based on Arduino Uno uses the MQ-2, DHT-22 sensor, and flame detector sensor and is integrated with the Thingspeak IoT, which functions to receive data sent from the Arduino Uno microcontroller using the ESP8266 module, then Thingspeak will send the data to an Android smartphone in the form of a real-time display and also a pop-up notification when a potential fire is detected. Finally, the fuzzy method is also added so that later the reading data from the MQ-2, DHT-22, and flame detector sensors will be more accurate before being sent to Thingspeak. The level of accuracy obtained from the readings of the three sensors against the tests that have been carried out is 90%.
Komputasi sekuensial merupakan sebuah proses untuk melakukan pemecahan masalah dengan melakukan setiap langkah secara berurutan. Konsekuensi pemecahan sebuah masalah dengan menggunakan komputasi sekuensial adalah sebuah hasil akan muncul apabila langkah pengerjaan telah dilakukan. Pengembangan teknologi dari komputasi sekuensial adalah kom-putasi paralel yang melibatkan penggunaan sumber daya secara bersamaan. Khusus pada bidang IT, sumber daya tersebut dapat berupa core processor atau juga dimungkinkan untuk melibatkan graphical unit. Skema uji yang dilakukan yaitu ber-fokus pada perbandingan performa komputasi sekuensial dan komputasi paralel. Skema uji tersebut terdiri dari pengujian perkalian matrix, proses filter sebuah gambar, dan proses quick sort. Hasil skema uji 1 menunjukkan bahwa komputasi paralel dapat melakukan perkalian dengan dimensi 2000x2000 dengan hasil berkisar 4x lebih cepat dibandingkan komputasi serial. Berikutnya, hasil skema uji 2 menunjukkan proses filter dapat dilakukan oleh komputasi paralel dengan efisiensi 50% lebih baik menggunakan 4 buah core. Terakhir, hasil skema uji 3 menghasilkan nilai efektivitas tertinggi menggunakan CUDA yaitu berkisar 96% dengan proses quick sort pada data sebesar 32Mb.
