Scientific learning in the 2013 Curriculum, which should be able to integrate local history content into learning, experiences more obstacles in its implementation. The presence of the Merdeka Curriculum brings a new direction in learning history, especially regarding the need for local historical content to be integrated into learning. Therefore the purpose of writing this article is (1) to describe local history as learning content in the Merdeka Curriculum; (2) to describe the cultural remains at the Loyang Mendale and Loyang Ujung Karang sites as local historical content. The writing of this article uses the literature study research method. The results of the research show that in the Merdeka Curriculum local history content is included in the learning outcomes that must be mastered by students during the learning process. Then the Loyang Mendale and Loyang Ujung Karang sites as local historical content are urgently needed to be integrated into learning because they explain prehistoric life in central Aceh region since the Mesolithic period, and are also by the scope of material in phase E (grade X) which has been defined in the Merdeka Curriculum, namely The Origin of the Ancestors and the Spice Path of the Indonesian Nation.Pembelajaran saintifik dalam Kurikulum 2013 yang seharusnya dapat mengintegrasikan muatan sejarah lokal ke dalam pembelajaran, ternyata lebih banyak mengalami kendala pada pelaksanaannya. Kehadiran Kurikulum Merdeka membawa arah baru dalam pembelajaran sejarah terutama terkait perlunya muatan sejarah lokal diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan sejarah lokal sebagai muatan pembelajaran dalam Kurikulum Merdeka; (2) mendeskripsikan tinggalan budaya pada Situs Loyang Mendale dan Loyang Ujung Karang sebagai muatan sejarah lokal. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi pustaka. Hasil penelitan menunjukkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, muatan sejarah lokal terdapat dalam capaian pembelajaran yang harus dikuasai oleh peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran. Kemudian Situs Loyang Mendale dan Loyang Ujung Karang sebagai muatan sejarah lokal sangat dibutuhkan untuk diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran karena menjelaskan kehidupan pra-aksara di wilayah Aceh Tengah sejak periode Mesolitikum, dan juga sesuai dengan lingkup materi pada Fase E (kelas X) yang telah ditetapkan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka yaitu Asal Usul Nenek Moyang dan Jalur Rempah Bangsa Indonesia.
The construction of an understanding of Gayo is greatly influenced by how the discourse on Gayo is produced. Discourse about Gayo can only be traced through historical texts that document various narrations about Gayo. This study aims to describe how the historical discourse contained in the text is used as legitimacy in building constructions about Gayo. To analyze the various narratives about Gayo in the text, this research uses qualitative research methods with the DHA (Discourse Historical Approach). Through DHA, the construction of an understanding of Gayo in the present which was built based on historical discourse found the context. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the texts about Gayo which are grouped into three sets “Linge Kingdom Texts 1”, “Linge Kingdom Texts 2”, and “Loyang Mendale and Loyang Ujung Karang Texts” are narratively contradictory to each other; (2) the three sets of texts become a discourse that legitimizes its narrative based on historical events; (3) The “Text of the Kingdom of Linge 1” becomes the understanding of the dominant group in reproducing the understanding of the dichotomy between the Acehnese as the dominant group and the Gayo tribe as a minority through discursive practices.
Aceh is a region in Indonesia that implements a special autonomy policy based on Islamic law. In that special autonomy, one of the things that are regulated is the freedom of religion that has been enshrined in the qanun. Qanun is a local regulation that regulates the government and lives of people in Aceh Province. In the qanun, the religious freedom of the people of Aceh has been guaranteed and protected. However, there are some conflicts between religious groups that have the potential to cause disharmony. One such region is Singkil. This article aims to describe the problems and reflections on the religious life of the people of Aceh Singkil. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a literary study approach. The results showed that there are factors that encourage the emergence of conflicts, namely the lack of tolerance and cynicism toward a difference in society. Therefore, it is necessary to realize inclusive community attitudes and strengthen the literacy of moderation of religious life through various humanist approaches. In addition, a firm attitude of the government is needed in setting a fair policy that accommodates all groups.
<p><em>The term suburban school emerged as a result of the polarization between schools located in cities and suburban areas. Negative stigma is often attached to suburban schools, with all their limitations.Therefore, the skills of the principal as a leader are highly demanded in school administration in order to create a golden generation in 2045. The eight values of Astha Brata's leadership are ideal values that must be possessed by a leader. The actualization of Astha Brata's leadership values by the principal in suburban schools is absolutely necessary, because of the peculiarities of the problem. This study describes the form of actualization of Astha Brata's values on the leadership management of the principal at a suburban school in Central Aceh. Data collection techniques come from written sources such as books, as well as scientific articles, as well as photos from documentation of school activities. The form of actualization is analyzed based on the problem and the solution to the problem is proven by school documentation in the form of photographs, so that an overview of the actualization of the value of Astha Brata's leadership in the leadership management of school principals in suburban schools can be comprehensively summarized.</em></p>
