This research investigates the role of cash waqf as a Islamic social fund in eradicating poverty in Special Region of Yogyakarta. Researchers combine both of quantitative and qualitative research methods (triangulation) to increase the perceived quality of research findings. To answer the problems, researchers employe three steps analysis, firstly forecasting with statistical approach using the weighted moving average method; secondly cash waqf simulation; and thirdly researchers propose The New Integrated Model Of Cash Waqf Information System. The results of this study has succesfully answered the progress of cash waqf, the support of stakeholders (government, financial institutions and society) to achieve target of cash waqf. Based on the forecasting moving average method, it can be seen that the collected fund of cash waqf is still very fluctuating in some future period following the trend of cash waqf fund before. In the simulation of cash waqf based on expenditure distribution at DIY , to reach the target of cash waqf in one year, for example in 2018, that is equal to Rp. 684,646,315.33, each household only spend about of Rp. 60,000 to Rp. 80,000 per year. If all Muslim societies especially at DIY have realized the importance of cash waqf, then the potential cash waqf cant be maximized and the flow of cash waqf returns can be distributed to strengthen the social pillars of the region such as poverty, hunger, health and eduaction. Keywords: cash waqf, eradicating poverty, forecasting, simulation, integrated model
This study aimed to (1) analyze the relationship the manufacturing sector and the trade, hotel, and restaurant sector with other sectors in East Java, (2) to analyze the economic impact caused the two sectors based on the multiplier effect, (3) and analyze the economic impact caused by these two sectors if there additional investment funds. This study uses data analysis input-output 2010 East Java 19x19 aggregation sector. The results indicate that base metals subsector has the highest linkages to other sectors. Based on household income multiplier effect, trade subsector has the greatest multiplier. Employment multiplier in trade and industrial sectors are in medium rank. This indicates that the labor has been absorbed well in both sectors. The output multiplier effect, subsector non-metal goods, except petroleum and coal has the highest multiplier. The last, according to the analysis of investment injection simulations Input-Output East Java in 2010, subsector other processing industries has a best value added. Overall, the manufacturing sector has a better influence to East Java's economy than trade, hotel, and restaurant sector.
This study aims to create a new research model with a variety of variables to comprehend and forecast the key factors that influence young people's decisions to use digital banking. This study uses a quantitative method with a multivariate analysis approach, for this reason, the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique is used. According to the findings of this study, respondents' perceptions of the quality of digital banking products such as mobile banking, SMS banking, phone banking, and internet banking do not influence them to continue using digital banking. Considerations of usability, benefits, risks, and ease of use dominated respondents' decisions to use digital banking services.
While the study of the regional economy and its factors has been well-researched, relatively less is known on the issues for the digital economy sectors affecting the regional economy. Therefore, the aims of this paper are: to investigate the regional economic impact caused by digital economy sectors; to analyze the multiplier effect of these sectors on the output, income, and employment; and to calculate the economic impact of additional investment in the digital economy sectors. The study focuses on the region of East Java Province, Indonesia. The method used in this study is the input-output analysis (13 x 13 aggregation), which generates transaction of goods and services at a certain time. This study uses data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Input-Output Table of East Java Province year 2015, which includes 110 economic sectors, which are then grouped into digital related and non-digital related sectors. The result indicates that digital economy sectors have both backward and forward linkages to other sectors in the region. Further finding shows that digital related manufacturing sector has the highest multiplier effect on the output, income, and employment. While investment injection on the digital economy sectors, based on the analysis, will make better disruption on East Java economy. The government of the region should put an emphasis to attract more investment in the digital economy sectors.
This study examines the relationship between FTV and house financing default, as well as the short and long-term effects on housing and apartment defaults. It also examines the extent to which Islamic banks implement suitable contracts for housing and apartment defaults, whether sale-based or lease-based. The data used in this paper is monthly time series data from 2015 to 2021. The finding of this study shows that the FTV policy in small houses and apartments (22-70 m2) positively significantly influences the house financing default in sale-based and lease-based contracts in both short and long-term periods. Moreover, the FTV policy in leased-based contracts has a significant influence on the house financing default in a big house (>70 m2) in a short-term period.
