Distance Education (PJJ) as a learning solution during the COVID-19 pandemic at the University of Lampung has not been implemented optimally. The purpose of this study was to find out the circumstances and needs of prospective physics teacher students while carrying out PJJ online from their respective homes. As well as analyzing the materials and assignments to achieve the Subject Learning Outcomes (CPMK) of Educational Research Statistics. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire distributed online with the help of a google form. The sample in this study was 53 students of physics teacher candidates in the Physics Education Study Program, University of Lampung. The results of this study indicate that the condition of students in implementing PJJ is that they already have adequate facilities both from electricity infrastructure, internet networks, devices, and getting support from family. However, students find it difficult to understand practical learning when using media and learning methods that are not varied. The analysis of materials and tasks developed from CPMK Educational Research Statistics consists of three main materials with ten learning videos, and each student is asked to complete matters an educational research case using SPSS. Based on the results of this needs analysis, lecturers need to develop a teaching material, namely an e-module containing learning videos that can facilitate prospective physics teacher students in implementing PJJ.
As Muslims living in modern times like today, we should not use technology and information developments as an excuse for not knowing and learning knowledge, especially those related to the Islamic religion. This study aims to analyze the role of android in enhancing Islamic-based learning. This research is a literature review with a narrative method that examines and analyzes the results of research related to the role of android in enhancing Islamic-based learning through a literature search Based on the table of the 4 selected articles, it is stated that there is an increase in learning using an Android-based learning system due to more innovative delivery. Conclusion, Learning media with Android applications are very helpful because learning becomes more interesting, easy to understand by showing videos or photos which will be very helpful for students who are less interested in reading. Pemerintah melalui Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan menerbitkan surat edaran nomor 3 tahun 2020 tentang pencegahan covid-19 pada satuan pendidikan sebagai antisipasi terhadap penyebaran virus corona di sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi. Menindaklanjuti surat edaran tersebut, penyelenggara pendidikan meniadakan pembelajaran secara tatap muka, tetapi dilaksanakan secara daring. Pengabdian ini ditujukan bagi guru fisika SMA, yang dilakukan dengan mengadakan pelatihan perancangan media pembelajaran menggunakan Program Benime dan Kinemaster berbasis Android. Pembelajaran yang dirancang menggunakan program-program yang terdapat dalam Android, mudah digunakan dan hampir setiap guru memiliki android, serta tidak memerlukan bahan habis pakai. Melalui pengabdian ini guru-guru fisika SMA di Bandar Lampung memiliki keterampilan dalam merancang pembelajaran menggunakan android. Metode kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu ceramah/diskusi, lokakarya, kegiatan mandiri, dan presentasi. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kualitatif berdasarkan: (1) tanggapan guru terhadap kegiatan pelatihan yang diungkapkan melalui kuesioner, dan (2) pengetahuan yang diperoleh melalui pretes dan postes. Kegiatan pelatihan dinyatakan berhasil karena peserta merespon positif, juga telah berhasil membuat media pembelajaran dengan kriteria baik, dan rata-rata nilai postes diperoleh skor sebesar 85,0 dan jumlahnya diatas 75%.
Bidang pendidikan menjadi salah satu sektor yang mengalami dampak yang signifikan akibat pandemi Covid-19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan trend masa penyelesaian tugas akhir dan indeks prestasi mahasiswa Jurusan PMIPA selama pandemi Covid-19. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh program studi S1 di lingkungan Jurusan PMIPA yang telah menghasilkan lulusan pada periode semester ganjil 2020/2021 hingga semester genap 2020/2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggambarkan trend masa penyelesaian tugas akhir dan indeks prestasi mahasiswa Jurusan PMIPA. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan trend masa penyelesaian tugas akhir dan indeks prestasi tergolong baik, dengan rata-rata penyelesaian tugas akhir selama 8,37 bulan dan rata-rata IPK sebesar 3,37. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu jurusan PMIPA dalam mengevaluasi proses pembelajaran dan penyelesaian tugas akhir.
