This research explores the concept of understanding of mosque managers in the public space about the importance of facing the direction of Qibla. Samples Mosque located in the public space of the Hospital Jogja International Hospital, Adisutjipto Airport and Mall Plaza Ambarrukmo be proof of the tendency of pattern of understanding of managers of religious orders to face the direction of Qiblah correctly. By using qualitative analysis method and data collection method in the form of observation, interview and documentation, it is found that first, that understanding of mosque managers in public space at three places reflects the quality of life of Islami ie measuring to the expert so that the direction of qibla . Secondly, the accuracy of the direction of the mosque building in the public space in Sleman Yogyakarta is included in the category of accurate with the maximum reason for the 6 minute arc disturbance, where the direction of the largest deviation on the mosques is 0o 1 '20.8 "or equivalent to 3,074 km which means still leads the city of Mecca.Keywords: Accuracy, Understanding and Mosque in Public Space Penelitian ini menggali konsep pemahaman para pengelola Masjid di ruang publik tentang pentingnya menghadap arah kiblat. Sampel Masjid yang berada di ruang publik yakni Rumah Sakit Jogja International Hospital, Bandara Adisutjipto dan Mall Plaza Ambarrukmo menjadi bukti kecenderungan pola pemahaman pengelola terhadap perintah agama untuk menghadap ke arah kiblat dengan tepat. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif dan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi diperoleh hasil penelitian, pertama bahwa pemahaman para pengelola masjid di ruang publik pada tiga tempat tersebut mencerminkan kualitas hidup Islami yakni melakukan pengukuran kepada pihak ahli sehingga arah kiblat sesuai dengan keilmuan astronomi. Kedua, akurasi atau ketelitian arah kiblat bangunan Masjid di ruang publik di Sleman Yogyakarta termasuk dalam kategori akurat dengan alasan maksimal penyimpangan 6 menit busur, di mana arah penyimpangan paling besar pada masjid-masjid tersebut adalah 0o 1’ 20,8” atau setara 3,074 km yang berarti masih mengarah kota Mekah.Kata kunci: Akurasi, Pemahaman dan Masjid di Ruang Publik
This study analyzes the software determining the direction of Qibla by Dr. Ing. Khafid, geodesy experts in BIG (Goespasial Information Agency) in Mawāqit version 2001.06. The analysis was conducted using qualitative methods. These results indicate that the system of reckoning Qibla direction of Dr. Ing. Khafid is in Mawāqit program version 2001.06. using calculations spherical trigonometry. In addition, see the pattern fiqh qibla direction, he sought to translate the arguments Shar'ie existing in the language of science in line with the opinion of Imam Syafi"i, although there are differences.
The accuracy of measuring the qibla direction of the mosque in Kendal, Central Java, needs attention from astronomy because the majority of people only know the traditional qibla direction measurement tool namely using a compass and the sun's shadow method. Even though errors in the use of the method will result in inaccurate measurement results and have an impact on the validity of the prayers performed. Therefore, this study compares two methods that are easy for the public to use, namely Google Earth and Mizwala. Google Earth as a method to check the qibla direction and Mizwala as a comparison method to improve Google Earth. Through mathematical qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation and interviews, it is known that these two methods are the easiest and most accurate to determine the qibla of all mosques. The method of data collection was carried out by calculating and measuring the qibla direction towards 1 mosque and 5 musholla. Although the two methods differ in terms of appearance, that Google Earth uses a satellite network while Mizwala uses the concept of the Sun's shadow, both of them can be used in an easy and integrative way. The result of Mizwala's measurements with Google Earth conclude error tolerance that is a range of minutes of angle. In the end, the two methods can be integrated to help and increase public awareness about the importance of correct qibla direction accuracy.
Abstract. The sound level of a bank is an important aspect that stakeholders must know about. A bank soundness assessment will be useful in implementing good corporate governance and for dealing with future risks. The purpose of this study was to determine the soundness level of a Sharia BUMN bank before the BSI merger with the RGEC method. This study uses a quantitative approach. Sources of research data are the financial statements of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah, Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah, and Bank Mandiri Syariah for the period 2016-2019. The data analysis used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis using the RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, Capital). The results of his research analysis of the health level using the RGEC method, the conclusion is that three banks consisting of Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah (BNI Syariah), Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah (BRIS), and Bank Mandiri Syariah are in the healthy category seen from the Risk Profile aspect as measured by NPF and FDR of three banks are in the healthy category. Aspects of Good Corporate Governance, the three banks are in good health as well. The Earnings aspect as measured by ROA and ROE shows that the three banks are also in a healthy condition and the last is the capital aspect as measured by CAR shows that the three banks are in a healthy category. Indonesia dan Malaysia termasuk pada dua negara yang berada pada keanggotaan MABIMS (Menteri Agama Brunei Darussalam Indonesia Malaysia dan Singapura) yang menerapkan kriteria terbaru kalender hijriah yaitu minimal ketinggian hilal 3 derajat dan elongasi 6,4 derajat. Dua negara ini memiliki kriteria dan karasteristik yang sama dalam pengamalan hisab rukyat sehingga diperlukan kajian untuk melihat upaya optimalisasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan konsep dan desain Pos Observasi Bulan (POB) yang ada di Indonesia dan Malaysia serta menemukan optimalisasi fungsi POB sebagai bentuk layanan kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan komparasi untuk menjelaskan konsep dan desain masing-masing Pos Observasi Bulan serta menemukan langkah optimalisasi yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan, pertama, konsep dan desain POB Indonesia baru focus pada pengamatan sedangkan Malaysia khususnya Pusat Falak Alkhawarizmi Malaka mempunyai 3 fungsi yaitu sebagai edukasi, penelitian, dan aspek wisata. Kedua, optimasi parameter pengamatan Bulan mencakup dua kriteria sebaagai pertimbangan lokasi rukyat ideal yaitu kondisi ufuk dan langit dan faktor pendukung pemilihan tempat.
