There is a significant association between HLA-DQA1*0501 and Graves' disease which may be unrelated to the inheritance of this allele on an extended haplotype with HLA-DR3. In contrast to a recent report, HLA-DQA1*0501 was significantly more prevalent among women with Graves' disease than men.
We study the thermodynamics of de Sitter black holes with a conformally coupled scalar field. The geometry is that of the "lukewarm" Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black holes, with the event and cosmological horizons at the same temperature. This means that the region between the event and cosmological horizons can form a regular Euclidean instanton. The entropy is modified by the non-minimal coupling of the scalar field to the geometry, but can still be derived from the Euclidean action, provided suitable modifications are made to deal with the electrically charged case. We use the first law as derived from the isolated horizons formalism to compute the local horizon energies for the event and cosmological horizons.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
