Research and development are aiming to develop critical thinking skills-based modules on the respiration system materials to empower the learning outcomes; verify the effectiveness of critical thinking skills-based modules with teaching materials in schools based on student learning outcomes. Research and development method are using Borg & Gall development procedure with nine phases. Data analysis that used for the research and development are qualitative and quantitative descriptive. Research and development results show that critical thinking skillsbased modules on the respiration system materials were developed according to the indicators of critical thinking skills and knowledge dimension that visualised on the objectives, materials, activities and evaluation questions which are developed to empower the learning outcomes. The result of module effectiveness test, showed by Anacova test result are F Count = 180,4 on factual, conceptual, procedural learning outcomes which are visualised in the form of multiple choice questions and F Count = 40.2 metacognitive learning results are visualised in the form of essays.
The objective of this study is to determine the impact of the Picture and Picture application integrated with Guided Note Taking (GNT) on students' biology learning achievement by optimizing teaching aids. The study is categorized as a quasi-experiment. The research design used is Post-test Only Control Group Design with group experiment, which implements Picture and Picture application coupled with Guided Note Taking (GNT) through the optimization of the use of teaching aids, and control group, which implements discussion technique, speech, and presentation. The population of the research is students of class XI IPA (grade 11 in Natural Science) from Public Senior High School (SMA N) 2 Boyolali. The sample in the research is students of class XI IPA 4 as the experiment group and students of class XI IPA 3 as the control group. Cluster random sampling was used to collect the sample. Multiple-choice tests, questionnaires, observation forms, and documentation are used to collect data. The t-test was used to test the hypothesis. This study concludes that Picture and Picture application integrated with Guided Note Taking (GNT) through the optimization of teaching aids utilization affects students' biology learning achievement in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains.
<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektivitasan modul elektronik berbasis saintifik pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA. Penelitian keefektifan modul elektronik berbasis saintifik ini didahului dengan penelitian pengembangan (RnD) terlebih dahulu dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan media yang mengacu pada teori Borg dan Gall dengan langkah-langkah yaitu, 1) penelitian dan mengumpulkan informasi, 2) merencanakan, 3) mengembangkan bentuk awal produk, 4) uji lapangan awal, 5) Rrevisi produk utama, 6) uji lapangan utama, 7) revisi produk operasional, 8) uji lapangan operasional, 9) revisi produk akhir, dan 10) diseminasi. Uji efektifitas produk modul elektronik dilaksanakan pada bagian revisi produk akhir. Sumber data pada penelitian ini berasal dari siswa SMAN 1 Teras. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah 68 siswa dengan rincian masing-maing 34 siswa dari kelas XI MIA 2 dan XI MIA 3.Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi. Observasi keterampilan proses sains dilakukan oleh tiga observer. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan ada perbedaaan nilai keterampilan proses sains (KSP) antara kelas kontrol dan eksperimen sehingga modul elektonik berbasis sainstifik ini efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran guna memberdayakan keterampilan proses sains siswa.</p>
COBENT (Community Based Environment) merupakan tindakan maupun kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh individu atau masyarakat setempat dalam mengelola kelestarian lingkungan dengan mempertahankan kualitas lingkungan. Upaya konservasi dan pengembangan usaha meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan sangat ditekankan dalam konsep ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep dan implementasi dari konsep COBENT dalam pengelolaan sampah secara mandiri guna mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Dusun Sukunan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, yaitu penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Melalui metode penelitian tersebut, peneliti leluasa untuk memperoleh data fakta secara detail sehingga data yang diperoleh mampu menjawab pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian dengan konsep COBENT dalam Pengelolaan Sampah Mandiri di Dusun Sukunan ditemukan bahwa dari aspek partisipasi, stakeholders, faktor penggerak, konservasi lingkungan beserta dampak yang ditimbulkan saling berkaitan dan mendukung satu sama lain. Implementasi COBENT yang diterapkan dalam pengelolaan sampah secara mandiri menjadi salah satu usaha untuk mengubah nilai sampah menjadi sesuatu yang bisa bermanfaat baik secara ekonomi maupun lingkungan. Dari upaya COBENT dalam pengelolaan sampah secara mandiri yang dilakukan secara berkesinambungan sehingga mampu mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Dusun Sukunan serta mampu menjadi support system yang utama dan best practiced bagi daerah lainnya.
Environmental protection and preservation are in the hands of citizens and students are the future of the nation, so it is very important to assess or measure the attitude towards the environment owned by students. The aims of this research are to: (1) analyze the attitude towards the environment in students of Adiwiyata and Non-Adiwiyata schools on EBSS (Environmental Behavior Sub Scale), EOSS (Environmental Opinion Sub Scale), and EESS (Environmental Emotion Sub Scale); and (2) analyze the attitude towards the environment in students of Adiwiyata and Non-Adiwiyata schools. The research method used is a mixed method with a sequential explanatory design. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with independent samples t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences in attitudes towards the environment between Adiwiyata and Non-Adiwiyata school students on EBSS, EOSS, and EESS with the significance probability of 0.007, 0.000, and 0.025 respectively. The research results generally showed that there were significant differences in attitudes towards the environment between Adiwiyata and Non-Adiwiyata school students with a significant probability of 0.000. The conclusion of this research is significant differences in attitudes towards the environment between Adiwiyata and Non-Adiwiyata school students both in EBSS, EOSS, EESS, and overall.
